It almost worked. All steps you said taken succussfully but on the End it comes up again in the same unlocked status as ever.... To bad.. Even it shows that it wiped all data but again same situation where it dont start the process of Language and personal setup etc.

I tried the same thing cause the pattern code is forgotten, but after recovery I dont have these three options (reboot, wipe data, MiAssistant). It shows a phone with a cable, which means I have to connect with the pc but what do I do afterwards? P.S. The phone is brand new I haven't done any Miaccount settings or anything, it's just a family member put on a pattern which is now forgotten before I got the phone. Got any ideas how can I wipe the data ?
