My Pop served in the U.S. Navy from 1932 to 1946. he was a CPO Chief Radioman on the USS Wasp CV-18 in the Pacific. He would be 109 years old Now. He passed away in 1999. Told me Lots of Stories about the Pacific Battles. He would Record Them on a Wire Recorder. Someone Stole his Footlocker with all those Recordings in it. I would love to hear those recordings. I have a wire Recording Player.
