Once, I got a chance to watch Zubeen Garg live in concert. Must say, he is the only singer who deserves the tag the 'rockstar' in India. He was a storm. There was a moment where he stopped singing because the crowd wasn't as energetic as he was on stage. He simply stopped and let people realise it. Then be picked it up after people's response. He was sorrounded by his amazing Assemese fans and they were having a great time with their stars. That was the time my mind said to me, he is the star India has produced. Sadly, people are now too much inclined towards Jubin Nautiyal. He is good but people declaring him 'The Pain Lord' is a simple marketing strategy. Those people aren't real. His latest, Baarish is a very expensive piece of crap. I wish Bollywood had given the same attention to Zubeen Garg..

Good observation… But, in Zubeen’s own words, he was not that interested in Bollywood. He has a very different personality. He is raw, plain yet purely stylish …. A true rockstar! He dedicated his life for uplifting Assamese cultural realm. He recorded more than 20000 songs. That’s a huge number. Moreover, he is a lyricist, composer, music producer, instrumentalist (guitar, keyboard, tabla), film producer, film director as well. He also starred in a few Assamese movies. And most importantly, he is always grounded, and always raised voice and worked for social cause, like helping people during flood, adopting wildlife. He has adopted an orphan rhino too…. His genre of music is numerous… Zubeen is always like I don’t want fame!

AND YES bheegi bheegi song from Gangster is my favorite. I haven't said that James is not talented singer but I am trying to say that everything KK sings becomes his own and cannot be overhauled by anyone again 🙌 Bardasht Nhi Kar by KK greatly overshadowed Sonu Nigam version that too at such extent that people didn't get to know that there is Sonu Version also. In Sarzameen song Shaan has sung 90% of the song but KK stole the show with his Vande Matram outro Yaad mein teri aksar completely overtook Shaan version. This doesn't means that Shaan and Sonu are not legendary and talented singer.KK voice is very unique and no one can imitate it and his voice is still like 20 yr youngster.Very fresh and energetic.His excellent throw makes him exceptional singer His throw in Alvida is just out of the box.No one can beat this 🙏🙌

I heard both versions of that song "I am in love" by Karthik and KK. Karthik's voice does not have dynamics. You just listen to the first few lines of KK and you will see lots of variations and modulations in those lines. These things can be done by talented singers like Sonu, KK, Javed Ali etc. Again, it's a personal choice. Hossana hit hua tha kyo ki AR rahman ka music tha lekin song me jo voice hai woh autotune ne bahot change ki hue hai. Such singers don't last. If you observe most of these singers, their singing is changed a lot using autotune. Only Kavita Seth is the original gem and she is a real singer. James is another talent but never heard his voice without autotune.

Bheegi Bheegi si/Hamari adhuri kahani by James is the Hindi version of the famous bengali rock "Bhebe dekhecho ki" released by "Mahiner ghora guli" in their albam "Abar kuri bochor pore (20 years later)", a bengali band from 70's.... though the song was originally sung by another local band....... I can recommend you to listen that original bengali version too❤️..... Love from bengal....

Parthiv Gohil seriously deserves so much more than what he has got. With the voice quality as mesmerising as his, he really could've been one of at the top (given the fact that good music be made even now). His song, "Youn Shabnami" from the movie Saawariya is his solo hit (yet criminally appreciated) in Bollywood. He did the backing vocals for a song or two in Devdas as well, but even that is unknown to the masses as of today.

Hey I wanna thank you for helping me to rekindle my connection with hindi music. From last two years I completely stopped listening to hindi songs as I was extremely heartbroken and disappointed with today's hindi songs. But after watching your videos I realized that why fell in love with these songs in the first place and how many beautiful memories I had with hindi music and there are so many things for me to explore which I missed in the first place. Actually Tulsi 2007 se gaa rahi hai Mujhe last year hi pata chala Mujhe laga shayad 2014 - 15 se gaa rahi hai Aur woh jyadadar male dominant songs mein hai. Uska thoda hi part hota hai

I was so glad to see Kavita Ji's and Anwessha's names here - I mean it is a shame if Bollywood is not benefiting from these highly skilled singers but at least music connoisseurs are not ignoring them. I love Harshdeep Kaur's opening lines and Anwessha's part in the Jalte Diye song. She is also a brilliant composer. Also, with due respect to Asha Ji, I search for and listen to Kavita Ji's version of Prem mein Tohre aise Pare Ham far more than Asha Ji's version. Kavita Ji makes the song so beautifully haunting. Anyway liked the video a lot. Thanks.
