Good luck on that one! I search around for old equipment to put back in the field also. Only 400 acres to farm so not worth spending alot of money on expensive equipment that I would never be able to pay back. Everything I get from the trees I fix it myself as much as possible. Getting hard to find old equipment where I live bc much of it has gone to the iron pile.

Those 2470 are good tractor ive got 1974 and never had much trouble with it . Its built like a tank .

Be interesting to see what the inside of the engine looks like. Looked like the oil pan dents were from the inside. Good luck.

Yeah I think they were from the inside. Once we get it running and home I'll definitely show the world the inside of the engine.
