Not into “Grungy” journals? Me neither, HOWEVER, I watch and I listen and, I learn. That is why I love you Gayle! You are such a wonderful teacher of your craft ❤! Makes me want to try my hand at paper making!

Gayle, I know you use all your packing paper scraps in so many creative ways and use so many bits and bobs in creating your journals. But, I recently got so overwhelmed with my STUFF, I just started throwing things into my car and donated it to my favorite thrift store. Books, beads,and lots of other things that I've forgotten about. I almost immediately regretted many of the things I donated and could have whooped my own butt. 😥 The main thing I'm upset about were my buttons, that I'd collected a long time and dozens of ribbons. I have been recovering for some months from several surgeries and was just thinking I HAD TO START clearing out.. Oh well, when I can get out again, I'll have fun shopping for vintage buttons again. It makes me happy to think another crafter was thrilled to have found all those buttons. I have quit saving junk mail and have fine tuned what I allow myself to bring home. I still have a lot that needs donating but have placed on hold for now. Big Hugs Gayle. I know you and Mike will have such fun with Bucky and Lief. I miss having small grands.

I’m not even halfway through yet but I have to tell you before I forget. That black metal piece is a label clip that you slide over the top of the spine on a binder then you can label what’s in your binders. We had them on all our binders at work, I have a few at home which now I’m thinking might be cute on the spine of a journal, but I never would’ve thought of it if I hadn’t seen yours.

I think if I were you, I’d put those bigger pages in one of your large ziplocks you take to retreats, and the smaller scraps in a bag so you can have one more row cleaned off your cart. Maybe take those extra pages and start a new one when your at your retreat! P.S. the paper I sent you is like what they put on the table at the drs office. I bought it new, coffee dyed it and stamped. It’s actually a kinda strong but cool different paper.
