Oh, Gayle, I was excited to see your scrap diary. That is just such a unique idea and a treat to look through.❤ Your diary could be added like a MM challenge once a month. You are amazing with how much you get done in a month, Gayle. Cannot believe you started working on Christmas in October. 😱 Believe me Gayle, I am in a time warp ALL the time. Time just zooms by anymore. It seems like Fourth of July and Christmas are nearly back to back. I am amazed how fast summer went by. And lordy, how I hate these long nights. 😢 Ughhh, any household repairs around Christmas are always a hardship. Hope your fence people got you fixed up quick quick. My baby grandchild will be 21 in January. 😢. I am not ready for my grandchildren to start marriage and families just yet but thinking in a few years all that will start happening one after the other. My BFF has had three great grands in four years. 😲 ❤

My sister did a “grandma’s scrap bag” book like this, but all fabric scraps from the sewing basket she inherited. It was full of memories and vintage fabric. I love this little scrap book.

I was thinking about this book the other day and then boom you brought it up. We have strong winds in California called Santa Ana’s but we’ve never lost a fence 😬. Good luck with the fence. Our refrigerator went out a week before Christmas, the repair guy is coming today 🙄. It’s always something 😮. Hope you have a better rest of 2024 😊

Good morning Gayle and friends! This is a fun trip down memory Lane. I make entries in my journal to document the projects that I work on. I do think this is a great idea. Just not one. I would be successful at because I’m always behind.😂😂😂 I take pictures of my projects mostly to post on Instagram, but I do print those out and put them in my journals to document my crafty journey. I did relate with your printing issue and hubby coming and ask questions. Never seems to fail that one thing goes wrong. It all goes wrong!😂😂😂 hopefully the rest of the day was much better. Good morning Gayle! ❤ As I came into the kitchen to refill my coffee, I noticed I had a gluey page dangling from elbow of my overshirt, had bits of rice paper clinging to my sweatpants, and was leaving a trail of tag and journal card corners on the floor behind me. 😂 Oh well, I’ll tidy up later. Maybe. 😅 Goodness knows, I battle perpetual problems with printing from my iPad. I have 2 printers and ‘sometimes’ one will print when the other won’t. Amazes me how they can’t find the WiFi when it’s 4 feet away. 🤯 Hope you got your fence repaired. Enjoy your holidays! ❤

Actually, I got caught up yesterday. I was only three albums behind, but, I do take a little bit easier route than you have been. I take pictures of each page in the albums that I make and turn them into a little slideshow which I post on my KZbin channel. I don’t have paper copies like you’re doing, but it does make it much easier to catch up. When I’m in a building frenzy, though I get four or five albums ahead before I sit down and actually take the pictures. I just upgraded my Internet service, and the slideshows that used to take 15 and 20 minutes to upload are now taking three minutes or so. Woo hoo!

I do something similar. I have a notebook when I’m working on a journal. I write down all the digitals that I used and when I’m done, I write down the size how many pages and the date I listed it on Etsy and then the date it sold.

Gosh, I never would have guessed that it was so long since you last delved into your scrap diary. I hate to throw a spanner in the works, but the papers you used for December were Timeless Christmas by RachandBella Crafts (which is correct for the time you were using them). Nostalgic Noel collab was November, although you may have recorded it in October since you were up fairly early in the month. If you're at a loss for some of the months, how about using Joey's colour series? I am contemplating a scrap diary for 2025 to help document my word for the year...we'll see. 😂 Hugs. ❤ Belinda xxx

My dear friend Donna from the Jersey Shore found an album for me like the one you are making your scrap diary with and I could not decide what to diary as I do not make digitalis. A bit amazed that that you've not done any since March!😮 Not done a scrap diary, I did start making a December Daily but didn't complete it! Still it should be ready for December 2025, right?!😂 I'm now on a total wound down and for the next two months I'll only be doing stuff for me! Since I have a specific size for this book, I hadn’t though about it. And I usually want some part of the paper not on the edge. But a punch would sure work! Just making do with what I have. 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️

I thought of your scrap diary the other day. Wonder if you were put it away and forgot about it. Thing get lost in my craft room. Lost my book binding punch. Had to use a pumpkin carving tool and use string. I waxed the string to make it stronger. I would need to name my video, Lost and Found instead of Forgotten Friends. Love your scrap diary. It's on my to do list. But my life is to stressful and I talk myself out of going to play in my craftroom. Have you decided what your new word will be for 2025. Big hug always. ❤❤❤
