I’m a fireman. And as the nature of the job is, you lose people. You cannot save all patients. And I swear, when I lose one, I sit in silence and I hear music like this inside me. Almost like I feel honored to have shared someone’s last moments of life, but a slight shame I wasn’t capable enough to keep them here. I remember the faces. Not the names. I pray a day comes when they can tell me their names.

Damn you for bringing them back. Damn you for reminding me. For reminding me that I couldn’t do enough. Reminding me that I failed them, there wives, husbands, children, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. Damn you for bringing it back. Ive been trying to let go. To get past it. But I can’t. God just the sound of the sirens going off brings it all back. The site of an engine tears me to shreds. It reminds me that it should’ve been me instead of him. Reminds me that I’ll never get to sit by the fire and trade stories of our calls ever again. Reminds me that I wasn’t enough to save not only him, bet everyone else.

I am only 20 years old and am a college student. I don't know much about life, but after losing my father due to mental health issues and possible overdose, I don't know if it was suicide, I come to learn something about Guilt. I should have, could have been there for my father as a teenager at the time. My parents were divorced, and I lived with my mother. I should have wanted to see him and do more with him, but I didn't. I was a spoiled 13-and-a-half-year-old teenager addicted to video games. I did not nothing with myself, and when I did visit him, it was mainly to be in the presence of my grandparents as they stayed together. I missed having a father that understood me, because I had to grow up with no one to relate to. My stepfather was the opposite from me and never really wanted to be in my life because he had his own children. Guilt has only one purpose to serve; To teach you to treasure what you have, remember what you lost, and respect the time sensitive nature of life. After that, Guilt is useless because if you learned your lesson from whatever gave you guilt, you can move on. Guilt beyond your lesson keeps you in a specific time and place, preventing more life to flow. If I have overstepped here, I apologize. If so, please share your wisdom with me, I am trying to understand what I can from whoever I can.

@@Casey-Onesweetheart...what happened was no fault of yours and I know your father would not want you to carry that guilt because despite his struggles he loved you. Sometimes parents lack the ability to show love in a healthy way due to their unhealed trauma and are overwhelmed and consumed by the inner battles they face. Know that despite whatever the adults in your life do, you are enough, your Heavenly Father fearfully and wonderfully made you. You have value not determined upon the acceptance of man. And you have a purpose. You're not alone hun. If you need support, reach out. Much love fam. 💗

"And here I stand," she said. "Here you stand," the Forgotten God replied. "The last human being that will ever exist." "Yes, you are, my dear, but it must be so." "I agree, but I've always wondered, why must humanity vanish?" "As things come and go," said the Mighty Skeleton, "humanity can't stay forever; the player must take off the stage. Humanity had the chance to prove its value. I didn't judge it, but it had the chance to show the good it could do. Even though humanity could produce mighty art, the hate and destruction it brought upon this world have been unbearable." The god was stern in his words, but fair in his judgment. "But you, little one, you improved humanity's image in its last breaths, and I'm not sad that you will leave and take the rest of humanity with you. You brought some good to this world; you allowed it to begin on its long Healing Path. Now humanity will be gone with this last sunset. Life will heal, and Peace will come again. I wish you good fortune for the hours to come, as you deserve it. Rest, my dear, I love you as I loved the first human I created." (Personal creation, inspired by this beautiful image that made me imagine this relaxing thought of humanity slowly vanishing)

"I..I'm scared", confessed the woman as tears started running down her face, "Will you stay with me?" "I will be right here", the great skeleton responds softly. He cradles her in his enormous hands as she nearly reverts to a child-like state of vulnerability, and they watch the sunset together. The skeleton gazes at the last rays of sunlight slowly fading into the horizon and says; "Of all the wonders I have seen in the universe, I find nothing more beautiful than a winter sunset." The woman faintly agrees, as her breath starts slowing down.

Teleports a woman too but I think it's also extra special that it has this effect on men too because men seem to have a harder time dealing with emotions given the archaic idea that "boys don't cry" - utter bullshit. Fathers pass it to their sons but being at peace with yourself is everything and part of that is accepting that you're allowed to experience vulnerability and emotions. I wish I knew how to tell my brother this.

This music makes me think of how my first superhero D&D campaign ended. It was so warm and soothing, this music would have been perfect. Imagine my surprise as the DM having set up for this final conflict, the "arena" was ready to go and the big bad guy was prepared to make his final stand against the people who had opposed him all this time. Then they started talking, then kept talking, and some rolls were made. Eventually, the party talked the villain down from his position of hurt and pain. They convinced him that this didn't have to be the end. They redeemed him. So the campaign ended not with the epic boss battle, but with the party comforting the redeemed man and allowing him to pass on in peace. To this day, it is the best end to a tabletop campaign I have ever seen.

It's like I am sitting there staring at myself. However, I am completely aware of myself in both forms, yet each form is still individuated in that they are looking at each other. One is what is left of an epic life lead with absolutely stoic resoluteness. The other in awe of the capacity exhibited by its counterpart, despite knowing it is in awe of itself. It is quite the conundrum to maintain a sense of identity when I allow myself to gaze loosely here. The music is pretty nice too though.

“Oh,” I said. “There you are.” It nodded. Slow, creaking-moss crept between the fissures of its enormous skull, and at the spinal juncture, fungi bloomed. “Here I am.” A thundering rumble trailing off like a whisper. A voice like that might’ve scared me, once. I sat down before it. The earth was damp. “I forgot,” I said. “We all did, I think.” “Yes.” I dug a smooth pebble from the dirt and rubbed it between my fingers. I couldn’t bring myself to look up at those wide, empty sockets. “I didn’t mean to.” It hummed-the groan of a fallen pine. Newborn birdsong. “It is the way of things.” We sat in silence. The sun did not move from its resting place just below the horizon. Everything, the good and the bad and the beautiful and the broken, it was all so far away now. Over. Ended. Dust. But… “Did-“ I swallowed, tried to clear the grit from my throat. “Did I fail?” It chuckled. I risked a glance up. And I was wrong, before, about its eyes. They were much too familiar to be empty. “Life does not fail,” it said. The trees swayed. I knew they were calling me-already, the gentle scent of decay was ebbing. I slipped the pebble in my pocket and stood. “This is it, then.” It nodded. I took a step towards the forest. Then another. My mother laughed as I toddled into her open arms for the first time-my father linked his arm in mine as we walked down an aisle-a thousand strangers brushed their hands against my own as we passed each other by without a word. Kisses blossomed. Tears fell. I smelled coffee and fresh laundry and wet cement and the spray of the ocean. I heard concertos-crickets-a baseball stadium’s cheers. The trees dipped their branches to welcome me. The air grew more crisp and clear with every footfall. Suddenly, I hesitated. I stopped and turned. I knew I must have uttered the same words before, but still I asked, “You’ll remember, won’t you?” It smiled softly. “All of it.” And as I took my final step into the unknown, I believed it.

"Does it hurt?" The skeleton slowly tilted it's head down to the human below, sitting and looking up to them. "It does, and it does not." The human looked confused at it's answer. "How can passing on both hurt and not hurt? I don't feel pain right now. Will it hurt when I cross over?" The skeleton slowly shook it's head. "The idea of crossing, to know the world that you left will forever be out of your grasp. The memories, the experiences, the people you knew, all back in the place your spirit no longeris tied to. The pain of knowing it's over. That is what hurts." The human lowered it's head, pondering the skeletons words with misty eyes. "So how does it not hurt then?" The skeleton looked to the forever sunset and sunrise, the permanent symbol of the end and the beginning of a day. A symbol of life and death itself, if on were to dig deep enough into its meaning. "Because past me," the skeleton then pointed off into the forest of large trees they pressed their back against. "Past me is peace. No more pain. No more hardship. Just....peace. What all you mortals really want in the end." The human looked a bit frustrated with this answer and asked, "What is peace to me then? Some people see peace as no more conflict. Some see it as a heavenly utopia ruled by a god they follow. Some even see peace as nothing! What is my peace?" The skeleton, ever emotionless with no change in their tone, simply looked at the man, and said, "That is for you to decide. You lived a life that befitted one such as yourself. Take pride in that, however you see fit. Whatever you find in there, is of your own making. I simply show the path to what you made for yourself." The human looked down at his hands. He did not know how to take that. Whether it was because he lived a life of goodness or of contempt, he did not know. He did not know if he was ready. But yet, no one's ever really ready for their final rest. He then looked to the skeleton, and to the forever setting and rising sun. "Do you mind then...if I can sit with you and watch this? Until i am ready?" The skeleton looked the the sun, and back to the human, and simply nodded. The man scooted closer to the skeleton, not feeling fear from its form. And the skeleton simply waited. This reminds me of a cold, snowy, winters night. The beautiful part is, everyone, & everything shutting down, and hibernating. It’s absolute magic to stand outside at night. While it’s snowing, the world around you desperately craves to be heard, so it sucks the sound right out’ve the air, yet at the same time, the wind whistles back to us it’s lonely tune. It akes me feel heard/seen. Makes me feel understood, vulnerable, lonely, and yet warm, fuzzy, and loved at the same time. Mother Nature surely is beautiful.

By a gathering of pine sat a gathering of bones, rooted in the cold set snow a figure that belongs. It sits opposed from the life that braces its back, when only shadows set defence to dawns attack. Where snow goes untrodden and pines stand still, a story is told with no pages to fill For what beauty exists where no eyes lay gaze, is no warmth yet felt when no cold betrays. It all has its meaning, it all has its place, it leaves an impression when we give death a face.

The darkness is behind me, the light is around me, and here you kneel before me. See me, look through me, look into me, and then you will see yourself. My mind carries the stars and heavens above, for they are eternal in their energy. We are all connected by this energy. We are one and will be forever. ❤ This was my vision. I love that the skull has the stars and space in it. They sit together in conversation, not necessarily words but energy and emotions. ❤

“My father told me about the Earth when he and mom were young. Beings as tall as the mightiest oaks wandering the quiet countryside. Forests as thick as the sea brimming with Centaurs and Saytrs, dragons that roamed the skies like birds. At night, you could stand in the forest and hear the Fairy’s Harmony… it was… magic. But now the dragons are dead. The Centaurs and Saytrs… gone. The giants slaughtered. The Fairy’s Harmony… silenced. The magic… gone."

I'm godless, yet I'm crying for dead gods at the moment. There's something inexplicable in the imagery and the music. Something primal and dear to our humanity has been lost. This helps us remember, helps us mourn, but at the same time the memory isnt clear, the memory is in our hearts, not in our minds.

Everything that has been written has come into fruition. Birth, life, death. It was written that there is no actual eternal life. All that lives must die and move on to the Otherthings and never come back. The death of a god is a slow thing, it can take eons, but they too will die when their power and knowledge and the weight of their experience becomes too much to contain and begins to rot. Rot leads to death. Death leads to new life; and the death of a god is the birth of countless new worlds.

I was forgotten once. Forgotten by all that made me. I was young and happy, but the stars did not see it through. I saw everything, but nobody saw me. At least, not after the first star had fallen. They were falling because of the weight of all they carried; the boundless wishes weighing them down. They wanted to forget. I was one of those wishes. So, they fell, and one by one each miracle child simply stopped existing. I watched as my mother’s photo album turned grey and as time reversed itself for so many, but remained the same date and time. It’s like we never were. So here we lay, forgotten, because the stars couldn’t bear to remember us either.

"Art". This here is what we call a “masterpiece”, using just an image and an environmental/musical audio the person managed to show us the vision she has in mind about the world she sees, everything in this video was made to make us feel in that world that the image shows us and the sensation that the audio gives us. Congratulations on your work and thank you for providing me with this wonderful feeling, when I closed my eyes I was able to have an incredibly relaxing vision and a moment of peace and complete solitude with this audio and this reference image!

“Against his will, Arekai wandered deeper into the ebony depths of his broken heart. New fears took the form of soft voices speaking cruel horrors, enlightening him on the grim reality he could not ignore” This music has been perfect for a scene I’m currently writing; found it at the perfect time! The air of gravity, solemnity, and solitude this ambience captures is a marvelously simple gateway into my character’s head right now, who is currently mourning the death of his best friend (which he accidentally contributed to) and the realization she was right about everything his side of the war stood for. (long story; she and him were both on the same side, but she believed the other side was closer to being in the right.) Thank you for this atmospheric masterpiece!

As the night sun said its goodbyes, the little girl watched as her only family faded into the night sky. she looked up at the stars wondering, which one could be the god. "You will be missed, my lord, you don't know but there are people who love you and they always will. Goodbye, my lord"

Beneath the heavens, long ago, Where ancient rivers used to flow, The gods would walk with mortal men, But few remember where or when. Their temples stood with pillars high, Against the canvas of the sky, But now their altars fade to dust, And marble crumbles into rust. The wind once carried songs divine, Now silent where their voices shine, Through endless stars, their light grows dim, A fading trace of timeless hymn. The world forgets their mighty hands, That shaped the seas and tamed the lands, Yet echoes linger in the breeze, Of gods who ruled in mysteries. And when the moon is cold and bright, Their shadows dance in silver light, A fleeting glimpse of what remains, Of long-lost gods and broken chains.
