Cospris is really strong on leaguestart. Lots of chaos res and guaranteed poison (without skill tree investment) makes for really comfy mapping early on.

the tough part for Cospri's is there isnt much space for a B-tier unique body armor for most players. The investment required to get it 6-linked means there isnt much of time when it would be better to get a Cospri's over just upgrading to a better unique body armor and before that point its just much cheaper to go with a corrupted rare

You generally use this in the pathfinder poison HoT build before swapping to Dendrobate. You swap to Dendrobate because this chest doesn't allow you to use Lone Messenger(at least if you are trying to map at all). It's surprising a pretty good league starter. The rings cost 1c (2c for both) the chest cost 1c and the gloves cost 1c too, the build can do the 2 first voidstones and farm them with SSF gear if you just buy those 4 1c uniques and 4 medium clusters jewels with "lasting impressions"(they are 1c each to and you craft lasting impressions by yourself).

I had a somewhat similar challenge to apply curses in time to ease the akward clear with my Psn AW of Range Nec, utilizing Forbidden Bloom + RP + Pierce. The solution was a simple Profane Proxi. The bots are usually around your mouse cursor, so close to action. This pushed clearing by a lot. The 2nd curse should only be relevant for bosses, hence it could be applied manually without many downsides.

First off: Great actual content as always. Your shining light on unremembered things has me thinking about making a similar series but featuring skill gems. If you'll permit a small bit of shot design constructive criticism. If it's not unfeasible/or a stylistic voice, you may do well to move your webcam to an above view. During the time your face was onscreen you were clearly reading a script (nothing wrong with that mind) but it also made it so you were not making eye contract with the camera. Which statistically puts people off for this sort of content.

I kinda want to do something with Herald of Thunder, that lightning > chaos bow (forgot the name) and maybe Galvanic Field for some serious poison ticks per second. Could even be set up with Shock Nova (ring always shocks) so you can always shock, always poison without needing to spec for it

I dropped one of these this league pretty early and thought about trying out poison on a skill that you'd normally never try to due to it having no base poison. I might have to revisit for the future, maybe for a rage vortex poison or something. EDIT: Also Gog angle is God angle.

I tried really hard to use this unique, but eventually I realized that most of this chest is just occultist. Hexproof pierce, high chaos res, and +1 curse is just Occultist, and the 5% poison chance tattoos are used on int nodes.

Cospri's Will is probably one of the most forgotten uniques and that's without any direct nerfs. It might have been relevant for as little as one League - when tripple curse poison BF mines were meta very long time ago, before double dipping nerf. And when GGG introduced influenced items it's doom was sealed.

I really like Cospri's will and i've been tinkering with it on various builds including occultist builds, as while the hexproof part doesn't do much the all hits can poison is really strong when combined with profane bloom explosions, as it's normally hard to get that to 100% chance to poison. Viper strike of the mamba is one I am trying to see if I can make work as occultist while using Bino's kitchen knife for prolif. Trickster may be a better option than occultist though, as I can just get chaos explosions from unspeakable gifts notable on large cluster/megalomanics.

Yeah the always poison mod is the strength of Cospri's Will, very good modifier to build around and if you can make good use of it, the rest of the stats are quite good considering how hard it is to get enough poison chance for some mechanics

Haven't really considered it before, but it could kinda fit in the frenzy-charge stacking setup with the ailment-maven-belt, as an alternative to snakebite. Maybe some pure-phys bleed + poison version hmm. Complete aside, have you tried a more head-on camera angle?:)

Nice to see you're feeling more comfortable and confident these days. :) As for Cospri's, another item I feel hurt it is Anathema, as that ring made it MUCH easier to stack curses on builds that want to do that. Whereas before cursebots would use either a corrupted Cospri's Will or Doedre's Skin to get more maximum curses, now they just power charge stack to have all the curses.

I'd use it too, but then I'd try to make use of many of the uniques in this series, guess I'm a non-meta enjoyer The term forgotten is used loosely here, the series is just about uniques that not many people are using in the grand scheme of things, and Cospri's Will was used by 0.1% of players at its peak in Necropolis

I tried to theorycraft something using this body armor (herald of thunder) and it's just too underpowered to make anything good. The issue is that +1 curse isn't AMAZING anymore since Anathema is in the game, no life or defenses on the armor basically forces you into being a Trickster. This armor needs a buff, sadly.

General rule of thumb is cannot > always. In the case of this context, always means 100%, and if the defender rolls chance to avoid poison, it's no different than the character having 100% chance to poison and the defender successfully rolling avoidance.
