FORGOTTEN WAY - SATAGE 10 (Way of Saint James)

LABANIEGO - VILLAFRANCA del BIERZO (57.1 Kms)
Last stage of the Olvidado section, but not of this Camino that continues along the French section in Cacabelos. Before reaching this town we will have to ascend to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Peña, located on a watchtower from which the Boeza Valley and the large body of water of the Bárcena Reservoir, formed by the flow of the Sil River, can be seen.
Afterwards, a beautiful landscape woven by the green pattern of the vineyards leads us to Villafranca del Bierzo, where pilgrims unable to continue their journey can obtain the Jubilee by passing through the Puerta del Perdón in its Church of Santiago.

Buenas noches pareja...quizás el camino Vasco del interior ( camino túnel d S.Adrian ) para este año? Yo lo realicé en el 2012 y pienso repetirlo ( duro pro muy gratificante).Lo único es que no se que variante cogeré para enlazar con el camino francés : a) final en Burgos ( pasando por Miranda del Ebro ) ...b) final en Sto domingo de la Calzada Felices caminos en el 2020 Bikepacking y pedales Pd. Magnifico reportaje

Chris, the budget per day can vary depending on what you choose for accommodation (hostels, hotels...), meals (menus, snacks, fast food...) and other needs. In our case it can range from 50-100 euros per day. It's our holiday, we don't want to waste money but we don't want to deprive ourselves. Maybe the easiest way physically is the Portuguese by the coast. Thank you!

Quand je vais arrivé à Cistierna, je prends le camino olvidado mais y a t'il beaucoup des points d'eau sur ce chemin ??(j'ai une tente). Merci à vous

Bonjour Brigitte. Vous trouverez des points d'eau dans certains des villages que vous traversez en cours de route. Vous verrez également quelques ruisseaux où vous pourrez vous rafraîchir. Bon camino !
