Crazy part is Gilbert stated it wasn’t the knee it was his mind he lost his confidence. Gilbert was amazing I think he rushed back too soon I honestly think Gilbert should have taken 18 months to two years off. I also think Gilbert should have converted to a six man role a team Like Miami could have used him in the 2010-2012 seasons

‘No chill Gil’ was one of my absolute favorites in the mid ‘00s. I had his jersey and a pair of his signature adidas sneakers. I started shooting deep 3’s because of him. I remember being so disappointed when he declined so rapidly. P.S. A suggestion for another one of my favorite ‘00s player is Deron Williams.

I can't explained what happened with gino bc it was sad 😔 but in 3 years you'll see my son Ballin like gino guaranteed. In my opinion Arenas was and it is still to this day highly overrated, he has a very poor FG%, he avereged 9/20 - FG/FGA and that tells me he was a ballhog and that he needed a large volume of shots in order to gain numbers. Ideas for future videos, forgotten players like : Truck Robinson, Brian Winters, Purvis Short, Xavier McDaniel, Terry Cummings, Jeff Malone, Fat Lever, Michael Adams etc.
@moneyman4740 Жыл бұрын
Was a diff time my nigga , name 1 elite scorer from that era who shot jumpers and was efficient 😂 , kobe , Tmac , AI , Gil all those dudes shot pretty inefficient compared to scorers today , it was alot less space in that era
@theghostofbabanovac7069 Жыл бұрын
@@moneyman4740 Fair enough what you're saying but those guys that you've mentioned had consistency, they would put up similar numbers no matter the club...Gil appeared to be more of a guy who cared about his numbers than winning, i mean i don't want to fully downplay the guy, he was a 2nd pick overall ffs 😂, he was excellent given the context but he and some of his fans act like he's in top 100 nba players in history, like he had unique talent...when it's not the case. I don't see Arenas being better than cats like Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Mark Price or Kevin Johnson, not HOFers but solid players to say at least. Gil was more like a Deron Williams, he had a spectacular and meteoric rise.
