I think a third video is needed to address more recent events such as the Death Masks, the role of the various Blackstaff and the brief rule of Neverember

Zhentil keep for sure. The Zhentarim feature a fair bit in my current Forgotten Realms campaign.

Zhentil Keep sounds good to me. I like both, but Zhentil Keep is the one I pick if I can only get one. Now, Halruaa definitely needs some love.

Of course both! But just like others who wrote comments before me, I prefer Cormyr to be first.

Cormyr has every aspect of typical fantasy Kingdom. It is Gondor of The Forgotten Realms. Well organized military and ranks (Purple Dragons!) & War Wizards Noble Houses and their struggles (Cormareils, anyone?) Prophecies about royal blood (Ghazneths!) It is all around good! Also, I really like politics in the realms and the Forest Kingdom has both micro and macro politics. After Waterdeep, Cormyr is the second place that has enough details to feel us "living the Realms". Also, who doesn't like Cormyrian flying cats? But I'm pretty sure just a video won't be enough for Cormyr. Maybe a video about founding of it, the legends about Purple Dragon and politic history & some military and another video about daily life, noble houses and deeds of Azoun. His fights against the horde and the dragon are memorable.

Not even a question! Hail to her royal majesty! Queen Raedra Obarskyr of Cormyr! Second slayer of Thauglorimorgorus, the Purple Dragon!
@madhatterhimself1817 жыл бұрын
Some day! Some day I'll get around to "Cormyr: A Novel" Wanna present some of Cormyr's stranger laws like: -Resurrected Royalties are moved to the very back of the line of succession. -Resurrecting a Monarch is considered treason and results in all persons taking part in the raising being put to death, while the resurrected monarch is NEUTERED and banished from the Forest Kingdom.
@madhatterhimself1817 жыл бұрын
The main focus should probably be on one of three figures: King Azoun IV Princess Alusair, the Steel Regent or Thauglorimorgorus, the Purple Dragon (and Prince Azoun II, his slayer)

If someone Ressurected Alusair, i would very much see them try to neuter her. It would not end well for them.
@madhatterhimself1817 жыл бұрын
As much as I find the comment amusing; as stated, Alusair wouldn't be neutered and banished, since she was never a monarch, she was simply regent, not queen, which doesn't count (a fact she draws attention to within the "Sage of Shadowdale" series).

I know I was saying that for shit and giggles. I know when her sister died instead of assuming the throne since it was her birthright to do so instead she decide to become the Regent of her baby nephew. It speak a lot about her character and why she was named the Steel Princess or Regent.

Its all ancient history really. A full breakdown can be found here: forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/History_of_Waterdeep - In retrospect, I should have made an animated timeline to go with the story.
