the only downside lanes podcast has is that i wonder who else he could possibly get on his show. bro is burning through 12/10 guests like its nothing, dang! some podcasts hit triple digits before even having cool people on!

Hahah I've kinda been hitting youtubers and streamers, but there are a TON of authors, open source contributors and maintainers, hiring managers, etc that I would still love to have on

27:40 I started with learning programming with Rust, it was not a great experience mostly because most resources assume you know another language before trying rust so they just explain rust specific thing before an example of a common programming concepts. I remember knowing how to work with the borrow checker before knowing what a for loop is. now am not saying that is something rust should teach you, in fact I think it's great that they start with what can tha language helps you with, but it isn't that helpful if you don't know what are you doing.

Does this guy seem out of his depth or is it just me? Maybe he'll learn enough through experience but he seems to be from the consumer end of this trying to take on the internals at a level that requires initmate knowledge.
