This song is so powerful! I have been struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-harm for quite a while. Tonight was a really hard night and I found this song right when I needed to. I have had it on repeat for almost 3 hours. I needed the reminder that no matter how much I have failed and let everyone down, God still loves me and there is a reason to keep fighting. To anyone out there who is struggling with mental health, there is hope in Jesus, and he is always there when we cry out to Him. He loves you more than you will ever know. God loves us unconditionally just as we are. We all have a God sized hole in our heart. ❤️‍🩹 Some try to fill it with all the material trappings of this world but they never satisfy. Only by allowing Jesus to fill that hole in our heart we can have true peace and understanding of what Jesus has done for us and the life lessons he has taught us. Without God we are like a ship drifting in the ocean currents but with Jesus at the helm we have direction and purpose for our lives. God loves you dearly and has a plan and purpose for good for your life. I heard this live last November in concert and loved it after that one listen. Your music has blessed me more than you'll ever know since discovering you in 2018. BUT. THIS. SONG. The dual meaning is so powerful. Christ loves me no matter what, "like I am." His love is always unfailing and faithful. The other side is the love of my husband of 34 years. The thing I see in this video is that we struggle with some sort of insecurity, but God loves us no matter the flaws we think we have. The mirrors get fixed and now we see ourselves in a fixed reflection, the one God sees us in. Then the mirrors break. I think it could mean that we no longer care what we think about ourselves and venture into the world knowing God loves us and that’s all that matters.

I was with my son this weekend who only has months in sobriety but because one of the bandsmen in the concert on Saturday, talked about his sobriety, it opened the door for me to talk about his sobriety which is in early stages. As a musician he realized it was difficult after years in a band. I thank God for his sobriety now!

I don't know if I should write this, but you guys with God helped me alot. I am right now suffering of depression, beaten down hardly, standing somehow, I always get suprised how am I standing. I've been through alot in my past, from family abuse, school abuse, trauma, alot. You guys always somehow get me up. The faith and love is all we need. In these times I always see as myself the victim which I am, people always blame me and say that I did many things wrong. I did, I did wrong things, not behaving how I should, forgeting normal things, like calling your dad or brother on phone. I feel like I suffer from something, I forget things really fast and people think I don't care about what they say or do. But I do care but I keep forgetting. I go to school that I don't like, I would like to go to school for priests or Religious School but sadly there is none of those. I just want to say thank you, I hope you will see this, I hope you will continue doing this. I hope you won't be down and fall apart. May God's Grace be upon us brothers and Sisters, may His grace be upon us...

I completely understand what you're going through. I lost my Son (27) in 2013, then my Daddy six months later, & then lost my Moma size weeks later. So I understand loss & after all I went through in all that I've had depression, have thought of ending it all & have in Behavioral Health hospital several times. I just wished people understood that mental health is more important than going to dentist or doctors when you're sick. But people still form conclusions & judge folks with issues. So don't feel alone in your struggles because I for one have been there. Trust The Lord & even though it may seem impossible He will help you through it. It's hard to let go of the worry, feelings & loss but Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Keep looking up it's ok to ask God ....why. FOR KING + COUNTRY. I first saw them awhile back at WinterJam in Peoria, Illinois. What an unbelievable experience seeing them in person doing a breakthrough hit "Fix My Eyes." Wind back the clock and my longtime friend and I was listening to this track on a contemporary christian radio,Didn't know what the name of this song was until I found it on FB and once I heard it, this was right up my alley because this is a healthy healing song for me thanks be to God because once when I was leaving from a local church, this fellow Christian member didn't acknowledge to shake my hand when I said hello to this person and then some of my Godly christian friends I thought were real friends but pretending to be something that there not. So when I talk to a real believer about this, This person break it through and told me that some people isn't out for others no matter how passionate people are, Some are out for themselves. This real believer told me to be the Godly person that you are, And that's when this song, "Love Me For Who I Am" came to play and all I got to say is thank you God because no matter if some people are real or unreal, God will never leave me nor forsake me. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the movie "Timecop" when I'm trying to identify myself to get myself cleared knowing who I am, but I know at the end of day, God knows who I am and God says to me "Relax" The road maybe rough, But you will accomplish the journey to your success in life.
