You can also check the answer by substitute the value of x and y and solve in original equation. For example: x=7 and y=2 So you will put the value of x and y in real equation. 2x+2y=18 3x+14=49 3(7)+14(2)=49 21+28=49 49=49 Check if your answer is equal to the real equation.
