These types of questions, 1 and 2, were only given a small mention in the KSSM textbook, yet they were strongly highlighted in these exams, causing students to gloss over the method of reciprocal-intercept form. Thank you for giving them the top place in your discussion, to help unwary students who will definitely get caught by surprise by this type of question 1. Obviously our examiners concentrate on the most esoteric and least focused part of the syllabus, designed to catch the unprepared.
