Yes the daytime running lights can be left unplugged if you wish to not run them

How did you connect the drl feature? Or if to a fuse then which one?

Just curious did you adjust the height of the headlights using the top or bottom adjustment screws?

Sorry dont recall but you will see which one adjusts the height once you start moving it. Just make sure to be 25'+ from the wall during adjustment.

Go into your settings on your screen 10:04 and you will see the option for turning on your daytime running lights if you haven’t already figured that out

How do these lights compare to the Morimoto brand for dependability and lifespan? I know they're about $500 less expensive for the set, but does the savings scrimp on quality control and workmanship? Personally, I think these are MUCH better looking vs. Morimoto.

Morimoto is a step up in terms of low beam performance. The rest of the features on close to the same level. Both companies offer US based support and fantastic warranty. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend either of them. if you prefer the look of the FORM I would say its a no brainer since they are less expensive. Reach out to us if you have any questions!

This truck is an exemple of what good halogen headlights should do. It’s crazy how many of them are so dim. It also shows that a lot of HID or LED are not really brighter than a good set of halogen. You really have to go for a high end product like the Evox-R 2.0 or MLED 2.0 to fully enjoy what a good set of modern headlight can do. In the OEM world I’ve been disappointed by so many headlights… 😢

Was thinking the same thing, the factory lights offer a really good beam pattern. A solid bulb upgrade should show a decent improvement. I'm not blown away by the performance of the form lights. I'm honestly thinking of grabbing a cheap set of h13 housings for my 4th Gen ram and installing the nhk v projector.

@@hunterdan2002 The low beam are solid, it’s the high beam that are not that good. That say, the halogen high beam are not as bright as the video shows because he was measuring low beam + high beam. But the low beam are aimed downward so only the high beam light up the road far ahead.

I agree regret buying a Laramie with leds… halogens are tried and proven all these years. While LED lights are more a hazard if anything. especially in winter reflecting off the snow, turns everything into a white blur.

I just bought a new Sierra with projector lighting and I find it bright, but to my eyes it’s like looking at things in black and white instead of colored hues that the halogens provided and it’s harder for me to distinguish everything at night, aside from road signs which are now blindingly bright until I pass them.

@ that’s the issue with LED headlights, the color accuracy is pretty bad and heavily toward the blue end of the visible spectrum. Good quality HID’s (like the Osram Night Breaker 220) are the king for all weather performance thanks to their neutral white light and 99% color accuracy. For road sign being blinding, that’s a projector design issue.
