I bought a pair of Forma Predator 2.0 boots a few months ago to replace Sidi Crossfire TA boots. The Sidi's have been very protective(even on today's ride), but they have not held up quality and construction wise. I'm not paying $500 for boots I can only get 2 seasons out of 😐 I haven't worn the Forma's on a ride yet, I've but I have been breaking them in around the house and doing balance drills on the bike with them. I wear a 12w shoe and they were causing me some pain at my toe joint capsule, but they've broken in nice... I'll have them ready to go when the Sidi's finally crap the bed for good. I don't ride any ADV, only enduro and trail, so I'm used to MX boots, but I can't imagine an MX boot would be too comfortable for touring in. The Forma Pilot is still an MX boot, just on a lower tier than the Predator 2.0. Falco makes an ADV boot that's very protective, the boot is called the "Aventour II", look into them.

@@Ingloriousingletrack I appreciate the feedback. I think we are on the same page. These are a tank of a boot and I felt very safe, but riding all day on the ATV trail and then three hours in the highway didn’t seem right. However, I did have someone call me from Marketplace and offer me a brand new Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro for the same price as the Pilots so I bought them. Just uploaded the video

@@aknownothingsguidetoeveryt8588 Alps Tech7's are good boots and comfortable but they are a sponge😐, even a spray of water and it's felt in the boot. The Drystar version has waterproofing but they don't breathe and are crazy hot in higher temps.
