Man you should have way more subscribers. Probably the most concise and informative boot reviews I've ever seen. As far as these boots, I'm leaning towards these Forma Terrain Enduro for my go-to, do-it-all boot. I'm just gonna wait for more attractive colorways
@AtomicMoto3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words!! Just a heads-up, they have sold that boot for 6 years, in only 1 color. Not sure if they will release any others.

UPDATE: I've been running these boots for just over a year now, and they are great. Have save my foot and ankles sooo many times (I ride trails and enduro races). Very solid. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't have padding on the top of the toe box area so if I walk around in them for a while, eventually I develop blisters on the knuckles of my toes. I've been thinking of a way to fix this, maybe glueing some thin foam to the roof of the toe box. But it's not a deal killer, it's still the BEST deal out there for the money.

Mine showed up yesterday rode with them today. Great boots. Lugged sole is awesome especially if you ride steeper terrain the extra grip is excellent! Better feel than predator 2.0. That boot is also really good though

Hi like these better than the predator 2.0? I’ve been debating between the 2 and trying to find out how well the terrains are long term. And which boots are lighter? Also the terrains feel so stiff like it would affect shifting? Have not tried predator 2.0 though.

Thank you for making this review, it's very informative and doesn't feel like sales pitch. Is it comfortable and "feely" enough for street riding? Also, please consider reviewing Forma Terra EVO Boots and other mid-priced options ($200-$300). Thanks!

Hi Brian, thanks for doing this review, the new 2023 models have a lot bigger colour range, I was wondering what they are like with regards to keeping out water? Many boots leak or the gator is not all the way up. Thanks in advance. 👍😊
@AtomicMoto Жыл бұрын
These are not waterproof bots with an internal WP liner. We prefer to be binary, they either are 100% waterproof (with WP liner) or not.

Thanks for this Atomic Moto! Excellent review, the best, as always. Would like to see a comparison between this boot and the Leatt 4.5 Enduro, but I see you don't carry the Leatt. Too bad.

Atomic moto, is the predator 2.0 heavier than the terrain tx boots??
@AtomicMoto2 жыл бұрын
Yes, considerably. Approximately .5 / lb. per side.

@@AtomicMoto wow!! And I was thinking my terrains were heavy. I previously had a pair of gaerne from 1994 that I wish I could own all over again. 10 plus years of torture. I did take good care of them. They didn’t seem this heavy, probably because I was 18 years old. Lol anyway I threw them away during a move about 4 years ago being I hadn’t owned a dirt bike in years. Well I got the itch and now own another YZ250 2 stroke.

Maybe I missed that part, but are they waterproof?

Hi 👋 from Colombia ! Amazing review, I seen this boots on market here, but didn’t know much about it , enduro riders here use more famous brands as fox and others, but I have a pair of Forma Adventure boots and the brand it’s super good one , I m interested to start enduro so I was searching for more protection like this robocop boots(looks boom-proof) , what do u think about Fly Maverick’s ? Tnxs and nice ytb Chanel , very precise info , you earn a new follower

Hi, I bought a Sidi Crossfire 3 size 10 and unfortunately I can feel a pinch on the outside of my midfoot. Does the Forma Terrain TX Enduro have a wider cartridge than the CF3?
@6226superhurricane Жыл бұрын
i had a pair of sidi crossfires not 3's and have had the forma terrain tx enduro since 2020 and yes they are wider than the sidi crossfires i had.

What footbeds do you recommend?
@AtomicMoto3 жыл бұрын
Geoff, any molded footbed, if it has reinforcements that is best. The Gel footbeds tend to wear out quickly.

How do they fit for guys with big calves. Looking for something a little cheaper than Gearne SG12's Thanks
@AtomicMoto3 жыл бұрын
They are about the best non-adjustable-calf boot available. You can see this if you stare at the photos, the opening is wide. That said, what is your calf measurement?

I have a pair from 2011,going strong. At first I used them for Enduro riding, too be honest I don't remember something (impact)to even bother me. After some time I switched to adventure, dual sport kind of riding. Bigger bikes, beefier, more impact. I did feel the impact but without them would have been terrible. One month ago my T7 (225 kg with luggage) fell and grabbed my foot between the side bag and ground. Yes it was sprained but not broken so I could ride for 2 more days. Love how robust they are, a bit heavy for my liking. Yes an hiking boot is more comfortable but this boots are money when it comes to protection. One more con are the hinges. Mine came with the hinges a bit rotatated from the factory, (a bit hard to close) this is why they were so cheap, paid for them only 110 120 $. Now I checked, I think they are Dominator ,anyway not that much difference
@TaskSwitcherify3 жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. Can you shift well in then, or do they feel like "cement boots"? Acceptable for street riding as well? (on a dual-sport bike)
@flyterlucki3 жыл бұрын
@@TaskSwitcherify yes to be honest I like shifting gears with something lighter, more flexible. So not that great but when riding off road I prefer protection over comfort. For street only, I would take something like an adventure boot.
@TaskSwitcherify3 жыл бұрын
@@flyterlucki Thank you very much. So, as I suspected, just like with every other "armored" off-road boot. I was still hoping for a more comfortable shifting experience.
