I bought one similar to that like 15 years ago at Arden B and it was emerald green and made of silk. I still have it hanging in my closet awaiting the next event post Covid.

"I'm rich, LOOK AT ME!" 🤣 As a 5' 2" Asian girl, I can relate - I favor wrap/faux wrap dresses because I'm also quite busty, but wraps also accentuate/define your waist and a-line skirts (like the emerald dress) cut to the right length are very flattering for short ladies. This was fun, like always! 👗

Thanks for the tip.. I'm only 4'10 maybe 4'11 on a good day and some dresses or skirts just don't look good on me unless I'm wearing 6inch heels.. It will be nice now I know what will look good for my height.. Seriously thank you..

Think of us tall people though! Having dresses made shorter really isn't expensive while it'd make life a lot more difficult for tall people if manufacturers started adjusting the length to the average height

The best part is. I’m a very tall woman when I wear a formal dress. It fits me in terms of not being too long but the torso is always too short. And I don’t have a proportionally long torso most of my height is in my legs. I think they’re designed for short women who wear really high heels (which no one actually wants to do because it’s so painful) but the company who made the long dress probably also has matching heels to sell so the dress isn’t too long.

First I was thinking that this rental thing was an amazing idea! But then the price was the first problem, and also that not a single short woman can wear these. Even with heals these are still way too long. And when it's rented you can't alter it at all. I would rather buy one and have fitted for me and even if I wear it once I would then sell it afterwards. Good idea but it fell short, only a little group of women could wear these.

Yeah I am short and I could never hope to wear something like those. If you are real skinny and short all your body parts are tiny lol like tiny shoulders tiny chest etc then forget it lol. But everything looked good on Tina it might need slight adjustments to make the best fit. I like to be comfortable anyways so I think the green one is the best when I think about balance between comfort and look.

When I saw the rose pink dress on the model, I didn’t like it at all, but when I saw it on you, I thought it was so pretty! You wore that dress very well! The emerald was probably my favorite but the rose is a close second.

Yep, in all the areas one wouldn't think. Like motorcycles. I have a 26" inseam but most motorcycles have a 32"+ seat height straight out of the factory. Limits a short person's choices but that's a monologue for a different channel 😂

Being barely above the average height of girls in my area, I understand the whole entire stool ordeal.....even pants need be tailored to fit. I've just accepted I will never get away without snipping or pinning clothes to fit ;' )

I used to do ballroom dance and we'd have these huge balls twice a year so I have a few gowns. One of them is the same color and material as your emerald one and I have to say it is my favorite dress in my closet and I am getting so many compliments in it. Emerald is a color that suits everyone and you look absolutely stunning in it! The cut is wonderful, too! 😍
