Greatly thanks for uploading. I find the lecture very interesting and very evocative. I have some objections to Dr.Khurana. I think Russian Formalism has few things to do with New Criticism. The more important origin of New Criticism was from William Empson, his book ''Seven Types of Ambiguity'' (1930). Technical terms of Cleanth Brookes ,including 'paradox','tension', originated form the book, I think. The lecturer should have mentioned Empson ( or his master Ivor Richards) instead of Russian Formalists.

Honestly , these literary theories are not that difficult..All we need is an excellent student friendly professor but you made it so complex by only quoting that too unnecessarily..
