Another awesome remote video experience for us who live too far away from Oshkosh to attend! - Thanks Steve! Down under, the T-6 snarl is legendary as the supersonic prop tips pass you by during takeoff with the P&W rumbling all those horses. Most of us older folk can vividly remember growing up underneath the flight paths of many of our Air Force Harvard T-6 trainers. But, getting to fly with these guys... What a treat. You're one lucky man! I'm very appreciative of your camera collection. You do a superb production each and every time. Thanks!

Great video buddy. I met Bob Hoover in 1986 at an air show in Fergus Falls, MN, the year I graduated high school. That man could make that ol' Rockwell International P-51 jook-n-jive! Also the alien twin engine act was something to see. A true Profesional/airman/Gentlemen all the way around. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some fond memories.😆👍💪

My first ride in a Harvard was 3 weeks ago. It was a formation practice flight. I was not expecting it at all. I had just finished cleaning up a huge oil leak on our Yale when I got a tap on the shoulder and instructions to put on a parachute. I was in heaven. Hope to see you out in Tillsonburg at CHAA someday soon and see if we can get you up in one of our yellow beauties. You never forget your first Harvard/T-6 flight.

Yes, to meet Bob Hoover is any pilot's dream. I first met Mr. Hoover in 1973 at the Reno Air Races, I was just a private pilot then but living in Reno afforded me more chances to speak and know Mr. Hoover. Then the day came I was in my hangar ( one of only 3 on the west side of Stead Airport that remained open during the races) when the Bonanza Casino cadillac pulled up to ask me if I'd be able to fly over to Skyranch Air Parts in Sacramento to pick up a part for O'l Yeller Mustang. One of Mr. Hoover's show planes. "Hell yes!!, oh I mean, sure what's the deal". and that evening I flew and picked up the need part for his airplane and became somewhat a crew member and hung with them in the pits every chance I got. Mr. Hoover is the real deal, indeed and a fine gentleman. He never spoke of himself unless you asked repeatedly, he was more interested in knowing about you. Oh, the part I picked up, It was an actuator something if my memory serves me. I flew out after the races ended that day and they held the store open overtime because it was for "The Man". The angels are getting a show I'm sure these days, "Gentle, you have a race."

Dude that was so awesome you got a Demo RIde with the Aeroshell team! They are one of my favorites for sure. This was my 5th OSH in a row and my 1st time flying in. We flew in from Phoenix KDVT to OSH in a Mooney M20K 231 and camped in Camp Scholler as we normally do. It was a blast but nothing like this.
