The good thing now is that they sell for 2799.00 but give you a lifetime membership for the workouts. No more monthly payments or membership. It’s all included. I just purchased this as of November 24 and that’s the new deal.

Hi Colin, great review, thanks! Forme released LIft yesterday (costs the same as the base unit). For 250 dollars you can upgrade from 100 to 200 lbs max resistance. This is seemingly done via an attachment that you have to remove every time before stowing away the arms. I‘d just love to hear your opinion on the Lift attachment once you get your hands on it. This could be a Tonal killer…

Not a chance tonal has more total resistance without add on (double) cose more than 1k less.. also offers live classes.. and the main convenience of arms folding in and looking sleek without having to remove bulky attachments every time you finish and find a place to stow them... forme looks like an expensive knock off mirror.

Colin - FYI I just confirmed with Forme that they have discontinued their partnership with Barry's. I assume this is because Barry's is going into the fitness space on their own.

Confirmed they are doing orders with the Lift for $2500 extra. I still haven't found anything regarding this unit's capabilities without the subscription, mainly does it have eccentric or is it like the Tonal where it's mostly useless without the Sub....

Do you think anyone is buying Forme? I have looked all over the internet and I can only still find a few reviews. I'm still deciding between the Tonal and Forme and it seems like Tonal has a much larger user base but Forme's hardware is compelling. Just not sure if they're going to be in business 2 years from now.

FORME is much newer and a bit more niche than Tonal. So Tonal does have a larger user base, but that doesn’t mean the company is more healthy. In fact, of all the companies I think Tonal is the most likely to go out of business given they are now being sued by their manufacturer for having stopped making payments, and a portion of their website was taken down (and remains down) since Black Friday week.

@@ConnectTheWatts Yeah it's so interesting because connected fitness should be the future yet all these companies are failing. If price were no issue would you choose Forme over the Lulu Mirror which doesn't look quite as good from a tech standpoint but has more content?

It's definitely a unique situation, a lot of companies became overconfident with pandemic sales boost, spent too much money... and then demand dropped at the same time money became harder to find/borrow. If price is no issue, FORME is easily the better choice. Higher quality, better tech, solid coaches for when you want to get some individual help, and has the option to add an integrated strength system.

Super curious how you like the Forme. I’ve had the Mirror for three weeks and have decided to return it for another option. Shopping Forme and Tonal. Tonal was a go until I learned of all the problems they’re having. I’m trying to learn more about Forme.

Forme has been advertising this for a long time, more than a year and a half ago they were promoting "Lift". Several times they gave dates when it would ship, so far, still has not done so although they now are saying November 2022. A lot of fitness companies with subscription fees like this are in serious financial trouble so it's a big risk to commit $5000 plus tax and shipping costs. It seems like a Tonal type system but since no reviews are yet available it's hard to tell how good it may be and if they can manage to stay in business.

There it is there... I've been trying to figure out if Forme is as good as everyone 8s hyping it to be. 150lbs is not enough. Its essentially a Mirror with a lot of bells and whistles. In terms of weight, it doesn't compare with the tonal.

The weight is evidently 200lbs which is equal to what Tonal has. With Digital weight, it’ll feel more like 240lbs (based on my experience with similar devices). Not enough to cover all lifts for everyone, but enough for most. Still haven’t tried out the lift version yet so I don’t know exactly how it feels/works tho

Without form feedback and without great stats, I think this is not much more than a tv and a mirror if you are not using personal trainers. I wish Fiture added the lift to be the clear winner here. I can't commit to one yet.

I LOVE THE FORME STUDIO!!! IT HAS MOTIVATED ME TO WORKOUT EVERYDAY. I KNOW DO BARRE AND MEDITATION CLASSES.
