Many years ago. Late night, I was driving my manager home after work, and stopped at the red left turn light. Nobody else was on the road, but when the light turned green a gentle voice said “don’t go.” So I sat there and my manager started to say something when a car came flying through the red light. Had I not been warned the car would have hit us and taken out my manager.

This happened to me 4 years ago, I had the radio up loud and was coming up on a green light at an intersection and I heard this voice yell “stop!”, and I stopped at a green light and 5 seconds later a fire struck went flying through the intersection. I didn’t hear it because of the radio.

I've watched and read a lot of NDE's and I've read of something exactly like this happening a number of times in those from people who don't know each other, the thing I don't understand is basically a rational argument: "OK, so assuming this is real: Why is this so rare/selective/capricious? Don't plenty of other people who get into horrific accidents deserve warnings like this? Why these people? Is it simply a case of 'the illusion of reality must be maintained to preserve the lessons, but the spirits can bend things here and there if they are willful enough and if the person has already 'cottoned onto' the big secret because there's no point in maintaining the facade anymore?'?" Like, it's certainly *nice* that this has saved a few people from a lot of pain or loss, but why are the rest left to suffer? Maybe, once "they" know you've seen the "real reality" and wouldn't be able to pretend that what we have here is the "real" real, they're more likely to assist? Or maybe the fact that you still somehow have a connection to there, makes it much easier to "hint" you? It is so tempting to wonder if it's possible to go "sightseeing" there like they did in the movie "Flatliners" :O Can meditation take us out of the body, albeit with a silver "umbilical cord" back to the body, like Shirley Maclaine described in "Out on a Limb" (which I believe you can actually watch right here on KZbin)? Oh, and good driving tip: If you're at the head of traffic waiting for a green, and it turns green... Look both ways before you go, just in case of idiots, especially late at night or when people might be driving intoxicated

That happened to me several times. Something tells me ( not a voice) to not go on a green light at least 6-8 times. When I was 4 me and my neighbor walked 3 blocks to kindergarten. The safety patrol said to cross he went took 4 steps something made me look up I saw our neighbor getting in his car drive 4 blocks in the time the other 4 year old took 4 steps on the street the neighbor ran him over he had to be going 60mph. He didn’t die how I don’t know. This was in 1961 , the neighbor was a drinker if he was drunk at the time I don’t know.

When I was a little kid, maybe 4 or so, my mom was sleeping in the car. My Dad was driving and a bit fast, my mom wakes out of her sleep screaming stop the car, stop the car. And sure enough my dad slammed on the breaks. We eventually progress up the road and my Dad would have likely not made the sharp turn ahead and we would have gone off a cliff basically.

💗😊💕I had a similar experience about your story about the light turning green. It was 25 years ago maybe around 6am, I was taking my baby to daycare, before work. A voice said “Don’t go, just stay” I wondered were the voice came from, but it was just my baby and I the red light changed to green and I looked in my rear view mirror and there was no one behind me. So I stayed put. Suddenly a semi with two trailers zoomed through the intersection. I laid on my horn hoping the semi driver would look up and see his light was red. That morning listening to my guides saved the life of my baby and mine and the mental well being of the semi driver and my husband and our families and friends. Thank you for sharing your story. YES!! Same as me -- I, too, looked in the rear view and saw no cars so I decided to just stay put. I think these messages come to many people. Some heed them and some dismiss, but the spirits often try to communicate with us, and usually it's we who are deaf. One NDEr I interviewed was killed by a young nurse's dosing error and was RIGHT NEXT to her as the young nurse freaked out, trying to assure her it was an accident and okay. The NDEr said, "Then I realized, 'she's flesh and I'm spirit and I can't communicate with her" -- just knew it as a fact.

Wow! I had a similar experience too! That's so cool to read these testimonies! Mine was my son's father was heading to work and I told him to wait five more minutes. I was informed of a red truck to worry about. Sure enough! My husband was walking out to his car and there came a speeding red truck coming around the corner that wasn't one of our neighborhood vehicles. Maybe a worker or ? My husband always listens to me after that. Especially when last year, I bought a brand new truck to take (on a brother and sister to mom's) trip from FL to Colorado because I saw an accident happening. I thought if I changed vehicles and we didn't take my brother's... We'd be safe. But I couldn't go because I became "super" sick and my brother refused to take my new truck after begging him. His two daughters took my place and I prayed for his safety, but never said a word about my premonition. I assumed it was my own, honestly and assumed my sickness came about to keep me safe. I also didn't mention it because I didn't want it to happen and get blamed for causing it by instilling in his mind... You know? Anyways... He was in a serious accident in Texas with the amazing outcome of walking away from it! The other car immediately burned down. That lady had a brand new baby. It was a brand new Ford SUV. She grabbed her baby out in time. The speeds were 80 miles an hour through canyon hills in north Texas... And my brother pulled out from a side road into clear traffic at the bottom of a hill. And she came flying over just as he made the move. She was going so fast she clipped his front and he didn't pull out enough to get his door. He's a bit deformed in his arm now. But he walked away. And I now regret I didn't say anything. The girls were only seatbelt bruised, banging around bruised and emotionally shook up. But I tried to change the situation. Sometimes you can't. If it's meant to be, it is. I made four attempts to create a new scene and also did quite a bit of begging to change vehicles. I feel if he would have taken mine, I wonder if he would have been more careful. I wonder if he would have seen her better because my truck sits so much higher than his car. It's done now. Just trying to learn from the whole situation.

I’ve also had this experience. It was 2am In the morning with no other cars around. The light turned green and I heard a voice say “Don’t go, wait.” I glanced around and didn’t see anything so I began to doubt what I’d heard. Then about 30 seconds after the light had changed, a huge white SUV ran the light. I would’ve been t-boned at a very high speed. My view was obstructed, so I wouldn’t have seen it coming until it was too late. 😇🙏🏾

Similar experiences-I was pulling out of my driveway when I heard a voice clearly say, “hit by a car.” I decided to go slowly and to pay attention when I went down the hill at the end of my subdivision. Suddenly, two little kids playing with each other dashed out into the street in front of my car. I was going so slowly that I was able to press the break and stop instantly. I was unnerved, but my listening to that voice helped save the lives of those children. I always listen to that voice, even if what it’s saying sounds absurd at the time.

What you ignore is that NDE's tend to be in line with the religious beliefs of the individual and the reported experiences are often conflictual with other religions.

I had a similar experience at a four way stop sign just after midnite. Not seeing any other cars on the road.I decided to cruise through without stopping and I heard stop and then stop much louder and then I heard a sound like a trumpet voice blasted STOP from my back seat. I hit the brakes and something sped by me at a very high rate of speed I didn't even know what color or type a car it was. I shook from head to toe and barely could drive 2 min. to my home. God had mercy on me that night and many more times after that. I am now a believer in Christ Jesus.

About 20 years ago, a bona-fide medical intuitive was the guest speaker at a local UFO group meeting. I was interested so I took a few hours off work to attend, walked in at the last minute before the presentation...found a seat. The woman (medical intuitive)would look at a patient and see the disease. She said she always was able to see energy auras. The reason she was speaking to a UFO group was because she had begun seeing small, sickly looking beings inside of people's auras and that they look alien. I asked her- You are speaking to a room full of alien abductees, do you see any of these creatures here? She said- "I noticed you when you walked into the room. At your sides stand alien looking beings with white hair and big collars, they stand at your sides like bodyguards. Behind you stands an angel who's light fills this whole room". Louisa!! I had an extensive NDE and pleaded for my Guide to give me a name!! (And he is definitely “he”… not “she”!) And for so long, he wouldn’t give me a name! I kept asking and he finally gave me what would be “closest” to making sense. He said he is “of Jesse” or “of the stick of Jesse”. Funny thing is that I haven’t felt like calling him Jesse. 😆 So NEAT that you had a similar experience!! My Guide is with me always!! I love the candidness (and truth!) about describing the contrast of her experience out of body, to then realising she's back in body. As we know, there is much to be grateful for in having this human experience but also (because we're allowed to be honest about paradoxes and boy! the universe is stock full of them!) it can be a truck load of manure at points too. To quote (and this made me crack up with laughter in identification): "...then I realized I was back in the meat puppet - I was back in my body and I was absolutely devastated. I felt I couldn't go back to such a primitive way of existing where we move these kind of squishy things down there in our mouths and burp out sounds and that's a kind of code for communicating - it just seemed so primitive." I hope anyone reading this takes this as a compliment for the courage and bravery of being here in our 'meat suits' and that those who remain back in supra-consciousness have deep respect for us meat suit inhabitants! The jolt of recognition I get from so many of you all is both thrilling and scary in that it merges with my experiences, giving me the evidence I both sought and dreaded. Years ago, 2am at a red light crossing Lexington Avenue right by Bloomingdale’s in Manhattan. It goes green but I receive an incoming message absent any real words, as usually described. It basically said “don’t move.” Even the car behind me started to go and slammed on his brakes almost touching my rear bumper because I had not moved. A count of 3 seconds and from my left comes a green sanitation truck flying at least 40 mph down Lex. He would have hit me in the left earlobe had I moved forward as I’d done a million times before. One of 3 such nearly identical happenings resulting in my nearly certain death, and as before always a particularly gruesome death avoided by this process. I’ve almost never discussed these happenings before because I thought the vast majority of people have no equivalent experience to compare to, nor the capacity or understanding for how earth-shattering these things have been for so many people.

My first love died in Jan. 2002… our son was 8 months old… 1 year after (on Easter Day) I was making a trip I had made 100 times by picking my son up In Joshua Tree, trying to hurry back to Las Vegas for my family Easter dinner… taking the back roads I had passed Kelso Train station and was about 15 miles from the main highway… I knew all the bumps on that road like the back of my hand. There was a car going in front of me below the speed limit, and being 21 years old (thinking I knew it all) I looked ahead seeing NOTHING for miles, so I decided to go ahead and get into the other lane to pass the car… I realized within 1 millisecond that I had made a massive error… there WAS a small bump I didn’t see… and there was a car RIGHT THERE… everything slowed down to the slowest motion I could possibly imagine… I went to put my foot on the brake (natural reaction) and my deceased boyfriend came and took my foot off the brake, and put it on the gas… the car that I was passing veered off into the desert on my right side, the car in front of me came within 1” of my car and we slowly made eye contact… and then he veered off to the desert to my left…. It seemed like an eternity but happened within a few seconds… I then slammed on my brakes and was the only car in the middle of the road… I immediately went to get out of my car because I wanted to make sure everyone was ok…. And I was YELLED at SO loudly “DO NOT GET OUT OF THIS CAR… KEEP DRIVING!!” I felt assured that everyone was ok… unharmed. I couldn’t believe what had just happened, let alone what I just heard… I was so freaked out but I did as the voice said… I drove back to Las Vegas crying KNOWING that could have been the end of my sons life as well as mine, and that his father stepped in to save us… I still have a LOT of guilt over not getting out of the car… but I feel that I was told that for a reason…

I loved this one. Cool lady. I keep hoping for a near-death experience, just to have that glimpse of the Other Side and have it suffuse me, and maybe be able to bring back (if I’m really forced to come back) some cool powers, esp. to have regular conversations with my guide. But even more, I want to go Home and stay there. I’m so close to being done, but they’re keeping me here, for what? I don’t know. I feel like I’m so ready, and I want to go there so much, and live in peace and love and without pain. What’s the holdup? I’m old already, and I don’t want to live with pain anymore. I wish they’d just take me. I’ve had a long life, some of it wonderful, some of it not so great, but I can’t imagine what I have left to do or see. I don’t really want to see what I imagine will happen in this country, and in this world in the next few years.

I'm sorry that you're feeling like this and I felt compelled to respond to you. You don't need an NDE to connect our real home, what you call the Other Side, or the Source as some call it (or God, or whatever term you want to use). You are already connected, as you and I are conciousness. Have you tried meditation to connect more directly with Source? Also, the funny thing is that as soon as we go back to Source, we are ready to come back to physicality. It's odd to think about now, but that is what people who remember pre-birth say. We like the challenge and contrast of being in the physical space. How else can a being who is perfect experience what it's like to not be these things? Know that you are loved, cherised, powerful, and eternal.
