it's crazy because imagine the amount of muscle memory in different aspects - not only memorizing the steps of theo choreography but also you have to have syncronization with other members, and in their vocal cords and not only singing and dancing at the same time, you need to memorize your exact notes during the harmonizations with the other members. You will just realize how many times they must have practiced just to get this one take of vocal and dance perfection.

I was surprised when I saw in your title that you're a former ballroom dancer. May I ask which event you participated in, modern standard or Latin? I'm also into Latin dance sports but stopped due to some reasons.
