Former Boyband Member reacts to "Bye Bye Bye/Chk Chk Boom" by STRAY KIDS

When the dancers in white enter at 7:23 is where the mash up musically between Chk Boom and Bye Bye Bye begins. Bye Bye Bye is mixed musically underneath/with Chk Chk Boom as they continue singing the latter. Up until that point they kept the songs distinctly separate. And fyi our musical genius leader and main producer of the beats (Bang Chan, or Christopher Bang is his English name - he's Australian - deep voice guy at 5:51) remixed it himself with the help of another producer he loves to work with VERSACHOI. Chris actually personally does remixes for every song of theirs that they perform at award shows or performances, and even a lot of their concert setlist of songs. Not to mention that he was one of the main ones who composed and arranged the originals as well! And yes, with Stray Kids no detail goes unplanned - the outfits were definitely meant to be a throwback look to the NSYNC days!

They were asked to do this as a tribute to boy bands for the 50th anniversary of the AMAs. It was a collab with *NSYNC and a remixed mashup between the two songs. *NSYNC loved it (some of them were present that night). The costumes were 100% a throwback to the 2000s. Ty for this reaction! Would love to see you react to more stray kids. You've barely scratched the surface of what they are capable of😂❤

They do mashups so well. Mainly award performances they tend to change up their own songs and perform multiple of them. I love the ones they did on the show kingdom. There were quite a few on there and gods dududu was amazing and started the friends so between skz and Ryan Reynolds.

with live performances 3racha(the production unit of stray kids) they will arrange their own tracks to fit a performance. So that’s why there was new things and slight differences to the original track.

It is BBB a little bit faster. There’s been a lot of fandom love between Stray Kids and *NSYNC fandoms since this happened. I haven’t even recovered from how awesome this was. They really should put this out as a single.

STAYs made a mashup of Stray Kids’ I Like It & a Coldplay song for TikTok edits. It’s sweet. Stray Kids themselves frequently remix their own music for performances & award shows to keep it fresh. In the reality competition show Kingdom:Legendary War Stray Kids mixed up other songs too. They are very good at it. I highly recommend that show, though it would probably get blocked on here.

They did new Album that Japanese one Called Giant that just come out which came out on the 13th of this Month. They also did the second season of Tower of God Opening Night and Closing Falling Up. Arcane season 2 Come Play. Deadpool and Wolverine called Slash.

Thank you for this reaction. When Stray Kids does a live performance usually for awards they will play a remix version of the song they are singing and some times depending on the theme they will do a mashup. They are kings at match up and mixing songs and making them sound even better than the original versions. Glad you enjoyed it. I had the same reaction when they first started. I was wondering why they didn't sing the lyrics. It was 50th anniversary of AMA and ode to all boy bands and I think they picked bye bye bye because it was the starting song in the new deadpool wolverine movie and popular at the time.

It's been a mash up since Hans second verse. 😅 It's started out as trading off between the songs, the rest of it was a mash up made by Chan & Versachoi.

Hello from Brazil! In fact it's really a mashup, they even made chk chk boom a bass tone to better match the bye bye bye track, whose instrumental is used combined with chk chk boom. As a tribute to the boy bands of previous generations and at the same time presenting its own style and color, it was brilliant!

The mash up starts way earlier when Han sings the second time, it's faster to match up with Chk chk boom

The part you mentioned skz put "bye bye bye" instrumental parts and also put Nsync's well-known dancing steps shortly and then got back to CHKCHK BOOM and then put Bye Bye Bye vocal parts longer with dancing And when they danced in that part, you can see the leader Bang Chan was on the top of stairs and dancing "Bye Bye Bye" following the famous dancing parts in Deadpool since Bang Chan and Ryan Raynols are friends and SKZ sang the recent movie's OST SKZ are clever and considerable when they show their respects toward other artists. Actually Chan became Ryan's friends due to SKZ's Kingdom(Korean broadcasting show) performerance where they blended Deadpool's concepts really well in creative ways Thanks for your nice reactions and have a great, great day ❤

Edited to add: I also recieved a Willa Ford CD around that time(I wanna be bad). Do you happen to know where is she now? I know you were a Christian band, but you were both Pop and introduced to me at the same time. I wrote for my highschool newspaper as the both the music and restaurant critic. I was sent CD's to review before they were released to the public and Plus One was one of them. Just to let you know, I gave you guys a glowing review.
