All these cosmetic changes to the statue is nothing but an attempt to cover up for the follies made in dispensing justice. People talk about their legacy. Well their legacy will be one mirroring the miscarriage of justice under their watch, in several cases (case in point Bhima Koregaon matter ..undertrails of Delhi riots) and not upholding the spirit of the constitution.. especially in the EVM tampering matter and Article 370. While it's true the SC cannot play the role of the opposition, it should also not be playing the role of the votary of the party in power. Justice in most cases has not only, not been done.. neither has it been seen to be done. Its indeed been a bleak decade since 2014 where judiciary is concerned, with most judges being high in sermons but near nil in action especially against the Govt in power. We the public are watching patiently .. never know when the dam will burst. God forbid.

The other alternative is Roman law which is used in most of Europe. Muslim countries follows some version of religious law. There is nothing much to choose from. It's just Hindu mythology, in which every quality such as anger, greed, pride, and lust exists, except for justice since even in the past, justice was served based on your caste. Thus, no such God or Goddess actually exists here. As long as Brahmin domination in the Justice System exists, the chances of one getting proper justice is extremely difficult to near impossible.
