At the beginning of the date, it was one-sided. The guy wasn't facing her and was still showing signs of nervousness and hesitancy. He also wasn't mirroring her.

Ever notice that this happens ALL the time but you’ve simply never noticed before... Next time you watch somebody being interviewed ie on the news or anywhere; if there’s books behind them and they’ve been an author; I guarantee you, you’ll see the exact same thing going on. 1. Visual range- nervousness. Is the person a threat? 2. Face- look for attractiveness. Pupils dilate. Triangle Scanning 3. Comfort zone. More tactile, self adjustment behaviour 4. Synchrony. Body echoing- isopraxis 5. Conclusion- we're in harmony

Haven't finished the video, but I wish he would discuss the Hawthorne Effect. If he is referring to videos of actual first dates and they knew they were being recorded, that fact alone would impact their body language and behaviors.

That shit's pretty subjective man. There's a lot of different people with a lot of contradicting ideas on what's attractive

@@annaisannaing yes and no. There are certain things which are considered attractive universally. Youthful, healthy skin is one. So is symmetrical and even facial features. Certain hip to waist to breast ratios which are indicative of fertility in women. Height in men. These are almost universally considered attractive features. Some things we have control over and somethings we don’t.
