Former Guantánamo (GITMO) Detainees Want The Military Prison Closed For Good

Former British Guantánamo Bay detainees rallied outside the U.S. embassy in London on the 14th anniversary of the prison's opening, calling on President Obama to honor his word and shut down the infamous prison. One of the activists, Shaker Aamer, spent almost 14 years at Gitmo but was never tried for any offense.

I don't believe in closing it but I feel sorrow for these innocent people who saw the worst despite not committing any crime. There needs to be an improvement on who goes to this place, how they're treated, and their legal capabilities there.
