Lesson to be learned is never hand over your phone to no one. That is like your wallet literally. Second , Observe your surroundings see if there is signs or usually a group with T-Shirts advertising donations (but always do your due diligence and do research, if you choose to donate you are entering at your own risk so to speak) If you hear Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo , PayPal etc. chances are it is indeed a scam.

One time this black chick asked if she can use my phone to call her mom because her phone was dead. I said sure what’s the number and I’ll put her on speaker. She had the audacity to tell me she don’t want people to hear her conversation, which I told her that I don’t even let my girl touch my phone yet alone a complete stranger and just walked away.

Zelle, Venmo apps don’t automatically log off. You have to make sure you log off the app so this doesn’t happen

The other day I was going to the supermarket and a couple of young men were outside asking for money I asked what for and he said something about uniforms and I just entered the supermarket while telling him I had no cash and didn’t stick around for any other options from him. It’s news like this that makes me have the most money on a non-digital platform. It is on good old-fashioned 80s and 90s ways I go to the bank if I want the big money if they do steal my phone they won’t get much ha ha.

Years ago, a regular guy ( nothing fishy) said his phone died could he borrow mine to make a quick call. I gave him my phone. He used it for 45secds. Later that night I got an unknown number call and it was him 😮. Learned then can’t be nice to even the regular Nykrs 😂😂😂

She seems very sweet and they took advantage of it. Two b guys pulled up by me sitting in my car and asked me if they could use my phone, they forgot theirs, I said didn’t bring it with me. I knew something was up and it would be used for something very bad.

She was trying to be nice. Same thing happened to me except I didn’t hand my phone over. Young kid in front of petco asked me for donation for his basketball team. I knew it was a scam but I said he’s a broke little boy, let me send him some money. I cashapped him

Sorry this happened. Its simple, No and keep it moving. Someone tried to do this to me as i was exiting a train station told them i didnt have it and keep it moving. In a few situations ive found out that there are adults scouting kids to do shit like this. Wisen up please.

Happened to someone with PayPal and unlike Zelle, PayPal monies are seperate from your account(s). She was robbed of $8,000. Use these kinds of "things" sparingly. Hand them five bucks but then people live in the cloud and they're living in a cloud, alright.

Why would anyone hand their phone over to a stranger? I give to charities that I know and trust not to strangers or kids (which I have seen) asking for money to fund their basketball/football team or selling candy in the streets (which I have also seen). I never carry cash or a pocketbook. I am suspicious of all strangers - even adults have to be aware of stranger danger and watching your surroundings (I have eyes on the back of my head).
