Future reference to any of the Old School Ga. Guys of Tommy's era , Ask about Deford's and the Crystal Palace, Stewart Avenue, also, The Falcons Crest Hotel , which Brett Hart briefly touched on in his Book , that place was rat city .

The Alamo Hotel, right that used to be on Stewart Ave. A lot of wrestlers took girls there

@@jamesburdette4113 lol last days of the Alamo which was almost right across the Street from Defords , it got finally closed in early 90's after 3 guys from Kennesaw decided to have their night before one of the guys Bachelor party there , they picked up a couple of working girls that weren't working girls at all but working boy's, things when south during the reveal the groom and his 2 groomsmen got shot killed and robbed,. Also on the corner in the shopping center Was the Bar Pipps which was actually a decent place in side it was Owned By Mr.Wrestling 1 Tim Woods, The Infamous Falcons crest was a long stay motel that a husband and wife owned next exit down on Cleveland Ave, who were big Wrestling fans and would pretty much let them stay free , when dbias first came to ga. He tried staying there, but it was too damn wild for him so he moved to the stone mountain area, long timers like tommy rich , Sullivan , Austin Idol stayed at a apartment complex off panola road right off Hwy I-20 about 30 miles east of Atlanta

@@jamesburdette4113 Well bummer I assume KZbin Deleted my comment about why and what happened that got the Alamo shutdown, and some other wrestling bar and FalconCrest history anyway very wild and interesting times back then
@jamesburdette4113Ай бұрын
@billxmas889 I didn't see that. I know why they shut down. I'm from around that area. I worked at the Crystal Palace, Gold Club, Gold Rush, and a few other places around there. I'm from Clayton County. Also, I'm close to Tommy Rich. Really close.

@@jamesburdette4113 yeah nobody can find a fun bachelor party place anymore, use to occasionally go to the crystal place , always felt Frank Booth and his crew from Blue Velvet we're gonna show up any minute, for about 5 years I worked at the Wolf camera main lab over behind the Days Inn off Cleveland night shift at that time still a hairy part of town but not like it was 10 or 15 yrs , earlier, lot of wild stuff happened around their how about the roid up cop scandle , or the guy that got followed home to Mcdoungh from the crystal palace and found out vise grips aren't always used for car repairs that story actually made the local news

Re Tony Atlas / Paul Orndorff, at no point have I ever heard Paul say he won the fight. I think it is fair to say they are both tough men. Tommy made reference that Tony was on the gas and highly strung and was boast he could beat anybody.
