I’ve seen Fred twice this week in Melbourne, Australia. One of the sets was his live performance, singing, on the keys, his drum machine etc. it was the best set I’ve ever seen in my life. The other was a warehouse party with techno throughout the entire set. Again, absolutely incredible. I’m hooked! I can’t listen to anything else right now.

this is by far one of my faveourite reactions that i have no only seen on by Jon, but also on youtube. Seeing someone connect with music in this way live is just special. As a raver, this type of music can make you feel connected with others and the universe, in a way that no other music can - it's extremely special and Fred perfectly encapsulated that in this listening experience. Jon smashing it as per - by far the best reactor in the fucking game.

This guy has taken over real quick and I can see why.. He's got that perfect mix of emotion and excitement in his music, hits so hard. From the first time I heard him his style reminds me of the old school Trance stuff, the songs that always have an anime background lol. Used to love that shit as a teenager (and still kinda do) so it's great to hear a modern version of it

I'm so pleased to see you enjoy Fred this much. I only discovered him about 2 months ago but I listen to at least one of the three albums every single day. I've told my friends before that the way he creates music makes me "feel things I didn't know I could" which sounds a bit bananas, but I loved your comment about feeling memories that didn't feel like they were yours. That's an even better way to describe the feeling his music gives me. I think that's a big part of what makes it so special. Dance/Electronic music can often times be so repetitive, but the way he integrates real life into it brings it to another level than your standard "dance" mix IMO. He really does take you to another place. A truly unique artist. Thanks for giving it such a "rave" review :)

Fred always talked about how different soundscapes can mean lyrics are interpreted differently- the track NATHAN i almost feel has a certain stalker vibe about it- they are lovely lyrics, but with how dark the production is behind it, it comes across so sinister - "but you're not alone- if i'm still breathing"- i swear that track can be interpreted as very menacing if you let your mind take you to that place. Brilliant reaction again Jon, loved when you talked about how you love the structure of this- and how you would like to document your life in a similar vein. This album is made to inspire.
