I salute the courage of this Pastor, like many other victims like him who for fear of ridiculing the name of GOD, they could not cry out to expose the hidden cruelty of some "powerful men of god" in the House of GOD. Many sincere and godly Pastors and workers have been forced out of the church. These "powerful men of god" have spread their influence far and wide in the church. They block access to the G.O. Pastor Adeboye who sincerely is aware of some of these practices. As any leader should do, he has to delegate some responsibilities but over the years, some of those to whom responsibility were delegated have turn themselves into "Principalities". Thank God this Pastor is high ranking Pastor with many years of service in the church and he is yoruba. If he were non-yoruba, tribalists in the church would have used tribal sentiments to blackmail him. May God deliver us from church based principalities help us all in Jesus' name.

I am suprising that this gentleman is deliberately misleading the public in his assertions. I wouldn't want to comment on the consultancy fees because I do not have all the facts. I only heard his own side of the story. However, on the issue of "his house" at the redemption camp and its present worth, he is economical with the truth: Anyone Ho knows anything about valuation of structures knows that structures deteriorate with time. Hence, the value of your building (and any other structures) begins to go down with each passing day. Hence we talk of depreciation. The only thing that appreciate with time in this context is the land. Hence, when you bring in your valuer, the value they will give you is that of ever appreciating land plus the ever depreciating structure. In redemption camp as of today, NOBODY can lay claim to the land because it wasn't sold to anyone. The document you Wil be given to go through with your lawyer (if you so wish) before signing clearly states that the land belongs to the mission, hence you don't pay a dime to get it allocated to you. You are also told that you are the owner of the building as long as you remain a bona fide member of the mission. Also that it is NOT transferable (that is, you can not sell) and that you forfeit the building whenever you choose to leave the mission. The implication of this is that the land revert back to the mission. Paying him what he said was "less than 15% of the present worth" is a sign of magnanimity on the side of the mission. Under the law, they would have requested him to remove his lawful building so they may have their land back. This includes but not limited to demolishing the building from foundation and removing everything (roofing members, bricks, metals, windows frames, rubble, ....) from the site. He is also permitted to pay in lieu of doing this himself so the mission can help him do it. In places where that was done, I am yet to see where the land owner demolish the building after collecting several millions of naira from the building owner. At best, they will renovate the building and carry on. I am not saying that arrangement is perfect but we must agree that the mission has his/their reasons. The man in question is an adult who signed those documents. The proof that he remeber signing those documents is in one his so called "recommendations" to the mission wherein he said "the issue of you loosing your house when you leave the mission should be re-considered". Why is it difficult for an African man/woman to keep his/her own part of an agreement? You know the truth but deliberately kept some part and distort facts to whip up sentiments on social media. This, I think, is immoral, ungodly and unethical.

I stand to be corrected, but I have found that it's a man who has some issues with God that thinks he can have solution to issues in the church sorted by the media. The church, remains and still remains an institution established by God, and regardless of the issue(s) it may have, God is still the supreme judge of the church. Am I saying there are no issues in the church? Am I saying the Church of God is perfect? Am I saying the systems and structures in the church are well standing without little hitches? and is the Media the solution to what is happening in the church? The answer is NO. One thing I know and there's no one that can change that is that if God instituted the church, only Him can judge His church. Secondly, Spiritual issues can never be unraveled by carnal means. I have often told people that at any point that you find yourself struggling with any spiritual (biblical) injunctions, why not drop it pending the time you go to God for a personal revelation rather questioning and raining insults on those who have asked you to do so. I am not a pastor in the RCCG neither am I an ordained minister in the church, yet I have the contacts of the PA to the general overseer. Likewise, I understand that the General overseer himself has given us means to reaching him if you so willed. Lastly, I believe if the Pastor has invested the same energy which he did to organizing and arranging for this interview into getting to see the G.O., he would have longed see him. Even in the abroad, same nepotism is taking place. Its easy to stand on the sidelines and not see how hard things are RCCG but I live and have spoken up times without number, it got to a point that even having a one on one with the leadership was a struggle.
