Oh, while I’m here: It’s very difficult, but if you’re good at bhopping, you can get to running speed while out of stamina in only 4 jumps. That’s faster than the 5 seconds it takes to regain enough stamina to do a running jump. I’m not sure how long it takes to get to the dash jump, but it’s doable. Basically, you could sort of ignore stamina in a tool-assisted run, as you’d be able to eat all the speed losses from being at 0 stamina. Of course, cutscenes, morphine, and winding corridors are still great places to get enough stamina to perform a dash jump. There was recently a modification of bxt released specifically for Cry of Fear, but I don’t believe anyone’s actually made a run with it. Maybe it doesn’t have quicksaves.

Oh, and you ALWAYS take 5 seconds to start regaining stamina after you run out, whether you’re walking, sitting, or crouching. The timer resets if you jump, of course.

When you jump out the train car window for the triple car skip to the foot, you can just jump up against the side of the car & be able to grab the foot faster. Instead of going under which is slower
