When I was 12 in juvenile detention in Los Angeles California. We’d do 500 sit-ups, 500 pushups, and 500 burbies after breakfast daily and then every other meal. We only had 2 hours to get it done. Then we’d leave the cell for rec. go eat again then repeat after every meal. Being your just eating carbs, noodles, cereal, rice corn and bread you got to go hard to not get fat. Every now and then you’ll get mystery meat. Then you take a bite and be like yuk yuk.

The ability to say no is a foundational aspect of critical thinking and personal autonomy, empowering individuals to assert their rights and preserve their dignity. When confronted with those who attempt to take what they are not entitled to or impose their will without consent, saying no becomes an essential act of resistance and self-advocacy. This refusal not only protects individual boundaries but also challenges systemic injustices, fostering a culture where consent and respect are paramount. By cultivating the courage to question authority and to reject unwanted intrusions, we promote a society that values ethical interactions and upholds the principle that everyone has the right to make their own choices.

Happy to see this attorney standing up for his clients rights. When I was a student athlete, I always tried to please my coaches, even when my body said no more, my mind said keep going. When you're young, you are taught to listen and trust those in authority. I've learned each of our bodies reacts differently, and we must listen to what our bodies are telling us. I wasn't there, nor do I know anyone involved, but I have a strong suspension the coach(s) knew the dangers, yet ignored them to show/prove their authority.
