Former rugby league player Rob Burrow collects his MBE at Windsor Castle

Former rugby league player Rob Burrow will be among a host of high-achievers to receive royal honours at Windsor Castle.
Burrow, 39, who spent 16 years playing for the Leeds Rhinos and was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2019, was made an MBE in the 2021 New Year Honours list.

Legend. I am a union fan but always loved watching Burrow play. He represented short arses like me and was still the best player on pitch at the highest level (not like me!). He proved rugby in both codes can still be a game for all shapes n sizes if you have the skill which he definitely did! Inspiration!!

I'm a Union fan, Rob what a legend, also is wife and parents, don't forget his mate Kevin Sinfield. Imagine if all the money spent on war, if it was redirected towards Rob's condition, or any other life destroying illness. Just a thought.
