Ant Middleton's gone from a soldier's income to between two and three million pounds per annum and all he does is complain about his tax, the entire episode. To compound matters at around 54 minutes, he literally says it's easier for people on a lower income because they pay less tax (percentage and actual). If it's so much easier, when does he plan going back to that situation, I am inclined to enquire.

The world we live in is purposely designed to be complicated enough for most of us to barely stay on the right side of sanity, but ex special forces guys like Ant M are great at being able to simplify a philosophy of living life that nearly all of us are capable of replicating in some form or other. They take a book's worth of instruction and break it down to a few short instructions. They cut through all the BS in the most respectful way, get to the root of issues that most therapists would take months to get to. I'm often around people who don't say what they mean and don't mean what they say, they live in a fear bubble. It's not healthy, and it's happening seemingly everywhere.

I've been a top tax bracket earner for the last 3 years working in Tech sales (I pay the top tier of tax 45% as I earn between £160-190k) I couldn't take it any longer so I've just sold my house (in Jan) & left my job. Invested my savings in stocks, riskier assets like crypto and i've bought a campervan to go travel and find a country that will offer me citizenship (based on property investment) & recipriocate what I offer. @Chris Martell I say this because the UK is trying to kill off UK businesses. It's already a daunting task to start a business, and now corporation tax is up, NI is up, and income tax will follow next year. It doesn't give anyone the incentive to become an entrepreneur, and that's what they want, which is mentioned well in this podcast. My personal opinion is that they will cap people who make money through KZbin, tik tok, only fans as it doesn't fit the narrative. I only earn 50k a year, and each month, I'm robbed of £1050 which goes to the Prince Andrew Trust, council tax, road tax, NI, ulez, pension funds which hedge funds play with, inflated petrol prices ridiculous energy prices, food prices and then to top it all off 18/20% inflation and no capital gain in a savers account. The government is one greedy pig, and that's an insult to pigs. This is why so many UK born families are moving to dubai and similar countries because the middle class is being stamped on, and people have had enough.

@@timfallon8226 He did say later in life by his family before his death, if he had any regrets? He said yes but there's only one, that I wish I didn't turn my back on Malcolm X and he was right. You might know this but Malcolm X spoke out against some of the Muslim practices and criticised Islamic leaders for not telling people the truth about Muslims owning slaves but he was murdered for speaking out. Ali was very young and wasn't really well educated in history, he got told what history was and didn't truly recognise it until he was older. As he speaks about it in his autobiography.

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview you conducted with Ant Middleton. His career in the military and with the SAS shows his strategical and tactical way of thinking and has very strong convictions in his beliefs, truths and opinions and says what he sees. The way he was treated by Minnow was abhorrent imo and that was due to him knowing what needed to be done while he was running that course on SAS: Who Dares Wins as he knows how it works. They tried to censor him in a way as they tried force a narrative upon him which he knew wasn't right based on his own experience and his judgement from going through what he was putting the candidates through on the show. The plethora of subjects discussed in the interview had some valid points which I know could be further expanded upon where you could go down the rabbit hole. It is good to see that he sees beyond the illusions that are cast by society and the system. Ant Middleton is very cerebral and keeps it real. Great podcast. 😎👍

Unfortunately there is a flaw in what Ant says and what he does, he talks about remaining true to yourself but also took 3 shots of the “cure” to work in America. The reason he did it was to earn more money, that’s fair enough as I’m sure he has commitments and bills, but it doesn’t show a level of integrity that is in keeping with many of his previous statements 🤷‍♂️

He banged on for an hour about fighting against the machine, but then revealed that he took the shots, obviously so that he could carry on working. It's up to him what he does, but don't claim to be a freedom fighter, when you failed at the first hurdle.
