This pastor is compromising by not embracing the truth about how the Lord created the other speaker when he calls him a "she" instead of a "he" referring to the other guy's original design. I think the pastor is wanting to please some group of people to avoid a strong criticism from the watching public. I was a bit underwhelmed by the interview. It's mostly because of how Karen reveals so much of her biases and often uses it to 'lead' her guests and the viewers. She often complements the guest on the left about how a good speaker she is, but leads the guest on the right into saying something that is for same-sex marriage and very little about what scripture tells (which should be the point of bringing a protestant pastor to the interview). Then there's the title of the video. I didn't even know that the Ladlad party list representative was also a guest. I thought that it would just be another one of those interviews where they grill the guest. I wish the network posted the entire interview. The last part in which the ex-transgender guest was speaking was suspiciously cut-off, unfortunately. I was really interested in what he wanted to say to conclude his message.

Kai Karlo I think the pastor got his fair share. The host acknowledged his stand on gay marriage and gave his views on LGBT rights. I don't see the need of reading biblical verses for it is no brainer that scriptures are against same sex union. The show is not 700 Club Asia.

Pastor Santiago is playing it safe. If you claim that God has indeed changed you, then you should take a stand on homosexual behaviour based on what the Bible clearly says. Instead of condoning it because of their so called rights, you should be an instrument of God instead and have the courage to say to your former group that what they are doing is against the will of God. I don't like how Karen Davila hosted her program at this episode. How can she had an awkward interview while giving her bias input. She was so amazed by how Ladlad responded, she must have known transgender differences and campaigns before having this interview. Meanwhile, the host was trying to tell the Pastor that he was opposed with separation of the State and Church regarding marriage. Separation means respect also opposing view if the pastor and other Christian doesn't agree with same sex marriage. Anti discrimination law for gays, will put pastors at stake if they don't want to marry gay couples they will be sued. You should know that too!

Nobody is arguing that your church MUST perform same sex marriage and if they dont, they will be sued. Where did you get that idea? Who are stopping "your" state affairs, why would they insist to be married if this concept originated from the bible? If gay couples were after the human rights of sharing of liabilities, properties and money, their partner can have a state power of attorney, and last will. If gay couple want to be known as couple they can use legal partner not the word "marriage" as due respect for the church if the state really consider them as separated entity.

Even hindus get married and Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world. this is the fundamental problem for Christians because they think that their religion owned and invented marriage... The one point that appears to be overlooked, is that there seems to be no distinction between "Gender Identity" and "Sexual Orientation". One's gender identity may lead them down the path of transitioning from one gender to another; but that decision is completely independent of whom they are sexually attracted to. A person's attraction to their same gender does not make them transgender, or even [cause them to] question their gender, it makes them homosexual; likewise, a person's understanding of their own sexual attraction has no bearing on how they identify on the gender spectrum. Karen has annoying moments. When she gets frantic with her questions, it reveals her own personal biases and lack of prior research, she should calm down and stop cutting into her guests' sentences. I think in this interview they failed to clarify "marriage rights" and the ritual of matrimony. The pastor is not for gay matrimony, as in marrying same-sex couples in a church. But I think he is for same-sex civil union. In the Filipino psyche marriage, matrimony, and civil union are terms that are still interchangeable. But I like it when she puts the Binays on the spot, playing innocent enough to trick the Binay's in believing she isn't taking sides, neutral enough as it were, so as to keep them coming back for interviews.

The practice of being together with a spouse as "one" was not started nor invented by man but by God Himself. If this is the case then the LGBTQI people has no right to redefine the practice of marriage being clasically understood as the unity of male and female. If we will allow such changes due to their whims then our childrens children will surely witness the evolvement of this kind of subjective feelings to the destruction and degradation of our many young generation in the future.

God did not make marriage.I personally do not believe in a god, but my very kind and religious mom ( who is a preacher/ reverand ) thinks that god made us but we have to make rules and things by ourselves because god gave us freedoms. And gid can't make an idea for us if he is real
