CONGRATS!!!!! I've recently started re playing the game and beat it very quickly, just under an hour. I've been going for a wr but only got 39:54. Still quite good but not what I was looking for. I'm hopefully going to be able to speedrun the remaster

Was not a glitch known to the public at the time of this run, and I have yet to see it be done on the OG version of the game, which this is.

Hey there, Pogun. I want to start trying to run this game since it just rereleased, but I can't wrap my head around the first level skip. Is there any chance you could explain it (since I tried doing what the wiki says and that's the only thing I could find) or is it possible it was patched out in the re-release?

No worries! We plan on making a leaderboard for the rerelease that's seperate from the original. While I'm assuming the old one will be the faster version, I doubt anyone will want to run it now that the more accessible one is out.

how did the subspace glitch in the first one work

It was patched out in the re-release. Basically you could just run past the screen and to the end of the level without enemies spawning.
