I've made the decision of keeping glitch videos unlisted, but I guess I'll hereby make an exception.
Skipping the final coin door was already possible by enabling autosaving, just like in level 3, but skipping the other coin door requires a glitch that I've named center warp platform displacement.
I suppose I'll explain this step by step; first I make my way to C2 and enable autosaving. This creates a save in that room, and basically skips going all the way up to the checkpoint. Then I get the key in C3, which starts a cutscene of a door opening, during which I select load game on the pause menu. Loading during cutscenes is BROKEN. In some cases it leads to a softlock, in some cases you'll be unable to die or collect coins, but you always warp to the center of the room you're supposed to spawn in. 5-C2 happens to have a platform going side to side in its center, which can apparently carry you somewhere while the game is paused. Once I unpause, I'll be at the position the platform supposedly carried me to, while the platform won't have moved. The goal is to get carried to the left side of the coin door so I can get onto the platform once it comes by, and reach the next section early. Since I loaded while the door opening animation was occurring, I'm able to die, so I have to unpause at a very precise time; too early and I'll be stuck inside the coin door, too late and I'll fall into the abyss. After I unpause and a bit of time passes, the lava tiles will glitch out for some reason, and the game will lag a lot. To avoid this, I enable and disable special effects. After all of that, getting through the top half and skipping the final coin door is very easy.
IGT is reset when you load game, which cuts out the eight seconds I take to get the C3 key. I'll leave it to someone else to decide whether this should still be included.
RTA timing used to be very uncertain but recently it was changed to end when the end screen shows up.
