Not being rude but they looked okay before being separated their development and physical bodies looked healthy besides the conjoinment , Now one of them got it a bit better physically and the other is disabled badly . Idk just seems like something in the surgery really affected them or went wrong and they as put as it’s a miracle only because they both survived which is great and glad they are ok but low key sad

I'm not sure if this is the politically correct to say, but if I was Teresa, I would not want to live like that. Unfortunately, because she was so young when the surgeries occurred, she did not have the option of an advanced directive. Her quality of life is severely diminished. I wonder if she's even aware? When her sister was calling out her name, she did not respond.

Ahhh Tanya the ableist. It’s a nice look.
@arcious60
@arcious60 Жыл бұрын
@@rosemarythicket I'm autistic. It's not ableist to not want to be disabled. I hate living with a disability. If there was a choice not to be autistic, I'd take it. If I was in that situation, I would definitely want to stay conjoined. Personally, I don't know why anyone even carries twins this severely conjoined to term knowing the risk. If you get a scan and it's at the head, I'd personally seek an abortion. I'd never want to have children, only for them to get separated and live horrible lives. You're choosing the latter here. Physical or mental disability. If this were my set of twins, I'd abort. However, if they were conjoined at the torso where it's easier and less expensive to separate, I'd keep it. I don't think I'd be prepared to handle a child with severe special needs. I, myself, have multiple disabilities making my special needs severe. I would never want a child to suffer like I did. It's not a quality of life. I'm not living. I'm just surviving. Quite frankly, I wish my mother miscarried a second time. Maybe then, I wouldn't have to suffer.
@ferninthehouse
@ferninthehouse Жыл бұрын
@@arcious60 I’m sorry you’re not getting the help you need but that doesn’t mean you should’ve not been born. This is very hurtful towards other autistic people like myself when you imply that we should’ve been aborted.

@@arcious60 I completely understand what your saying. I was born with multiple illnesses and thank fully I’ve been able to manage them. But these twins weren’t so lucky. Yes people are "confined". It's one thing to be able to move around on your own in a wheelchair, but that is not the case for her. I work non stop around people confined in wheelchairs, and it's a sad way to live. Not being able to move AT ALL, at the mercy of other people's schedule. So you need to educate yourself.

That all brain damage would be completely healed and reversed by the power of your blood. While I understand your good intentions, well wishes are often much nicer than prayer. As someone who's terminally ill, if God wanted me to be healed he would/will. Nobody's prayer would change that. He has his plans for me and these two women. While we would all love being healthy, that's not in our plan. Hopefully in the future you'll take this into consideration, as lots of disabled and incurably sick people get frustrated with constant prayers for divine healing. Instead, prayers for like joy and comfort in our lives are more appropriate. God bless you and have a good day
