9:20 I've had the AI declare war on me when I'm at war. In fact, that's usually when they do it. Although for some reason the AI in this game is kinda passive when the balance of power isn't overwhelming to one side.

The AI can definitely declare war on you while you're already at war. Has happened to me

35:43 Roleplaying as Turkey I see? It's great to see Imperator:Rome make a comeback, it really is a great game if you give it a chance. BTW the whole "release a theocratic vassal" isn't from the mod, it's completely vanilla.

This is my favorite playthrough in the game, so happy to see someone else enjoyed it. Was very sad to see they didn’t really have much content even with invictus as they’re my favorite entity and history in the era.

I got it as it came out, but for a long time I did not know how to play the new patches, it would always crash. I had to delete a save file and it worked. I have sunk 80 hours into it over the the last month. Rome isn’t that fun to play. I have the most fun playing as Iceni, Sparta, and now Seleucids. As Sparta I formed the Hellenic League. Having only conquered up to Dacia and over into Anatolia. Relying on levies most of the campaign. It was a lot of fun, but was I in for a treat as the Seleucid’s. It took nearly the entire campaign, but I just reunited Alexander’s Empire by the in game year of 699. Even still there is much to do yet as far as cleaning up the border gore. I hope to at least control the entire provinces of Thrace, Greece, Macedonia, and all of Anatolia before the game ends. I have the Royal Guard military law, as the insane numbers of levies I can raise is just too good. The royal army is 74.5k strong, along with 140 ships. I have most of the major bloodlines except for Argead, Archemenid, Bosporus, and Armenian. That includes the 3 Roman bloodlines, Argiads of Sparta, the Parthian bloodline, and Chandgrupta. With 4 mercenary armies, and royal army, and all levies raised, the standing forces are roughly 500k, with a manpower pool of 900k. It is hands down my favorite play through so far, as well as favorite Paradox game. I just wish it was a bit better with war score cost when annexing. 10-15 years to fully annex another major power(as far as truce time to wait in between wars) is a bit much, especially when the “legacy of Alexander CB” dies with your initial Diadochi ruler. Anyways, this game is freaking awesome.
