Thanks for the workflow overview. I only have experience with FDM printing and was wondering why the Benchy is rotated 30 degrees in two axises? What would be the challenges with Resin printing if the Benchy wasn't oriented by the 30 degrees?

Could definitely have been printed directly on the build plate. However, there would have been a warning about the part being under supported. Also note, there was a warning about cups that was not addressed. Printing benchy directly on the build plate can cause cups to form. Also, the text on the bottom of the bency will not show since SLA requires a bit of a raft to print before creating the part.

Skipped right over the 'cups' warning. True, you can often ignore those but it's important to take note and do your best to avoid having cups. Cups can cause 'blowouts'. This is where, due to geometry, you can end up creating a bit of a vacuum between the part and the tank that can cause failures in the area surrounding the vacuum. Sometimes you can reduce the cups warning by adding a channel in one of the walls that prevents cups.

Great video! One comment. On a model like this is that yes, it is a test model. But this is designed for FDM printing not SLA. For SLA it would have made more sense to do any of standard resin test prints no?

Printing Benchy in resin is awesome. But, yes. There are many sample prints that can be printed without using any supports. Those are a lot of fun and look fantastic.

Remove supports first, then cure.

not always. On thin parts that can result in warping. Also, if you take it out of cure right after it's done, the warm supports remove much easier than when it's cold.
