I realized that the screencasting still works on the X5 just not chromecasting. Don't expect to be able to cast directly from phone apps but miracast and macs detecting it as a wireless display are a go!!!

Can this be ceiling mounted in a dedicated home theater and adjust the image position accurately to the fixed screen? My measurements are - 155inch diagonal 16:9 screen from 14.5 ft distance

Hello, very good video, good work! But I have just a question: Do you know what happens to the screen if you move the projector further back? Is it able to adapt the width of the image to the screen so that it doesn't protrude beyond the screen and degrade quality? I'm interested in this projector, but my screen is 1.60 m wide and the best position for the projector is 3.50 m from the screen.

I have Formovie x5 on the shelf at a height approximately to the center of the screen, but the image is almost at the top of the ceiling... only when I lower the rear legs by approx. 3-4 cm, which does not look good at all, then the image is in the middle of the screen... I tried to adjust everything, but in vain.... there is a function to move the image up, down, left, right, just a bit, but it is not enough at all and it does not work. Can you advise me on the settings? Do you have the projector placed in the ceiling approximately in the center of the screen? Thanks for the reply

Does anyone here have a Formovie x5 at home? So that they can answer me if, when I have a projector at the same height as the center of the screen, the image will be in the center of the screen, or will only the upper part of the screen and the larger part be directed to the ceiling? So how do I do it? I have defects piece or is it normal?

Hi, thanks for you great review ! I want to buy a projector and the Formovie X5 is on the top of my list, though I'm still wondering if it's that much better than the Formovie V10, which I really appreciate so far. Could you do a similar review on this projector ? Thanks again for your work and good luck for your channel ! You just got yourself a subscriber !

Thank you so much for the subscription! I will add the V10 to my list of projectors to review. In the mean time "The Hook Up" does great testing of all the projectors in his review for comparison. I was also eyeing the V10 until I watched his review here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnmslp2Xl6t_j7cfeature=shared To summarize the difference for you if you don't want to watch the whole video the X5 is around 883 lumens brighter and has almost double the FOFO contrast, but the V10 had 2ms lower input lag at 4k 60, better sound quality, and slightly higher color gamut coverage.

@@TechChroniclesReviews thanks for your quick response ! I was wondering if the V10 could do the job in a room with ambient daylight, because I don't want to use it just in darkness. But then I find out about ALR screens, which could potentially help the V10 to be brighter and have more contrast... what do you think about it ? Does the X5 work very good in ambient daylight without a screen ? But anyway I forgot to tell you that your gaming example with smash bros was perfect given that I'm usually playing it, so thanks again 😂 ! I've already watched the Hook Up review but I'd very much like to have your opinion 😁 especially on the image quality and the colors when you test it. Have a good day !

I think if you decide to go with the V10 the ALR screen could definity help but I think in a room with light you will want something brighter. All of this though is relevant to the size of screen or picture you're trying to get. The bigger the screen/picture size on the wall the dimmer the whole image is going to look. If you want above 90 inches I think you will want the added brightness of the X5 regardless of using an ALR screen.

True I have seen 2 reviewers get around 3000 ansi lumens but since the majority couldn't achieve that number I decided to go with the lower brightness that most reviewers get from testing since I can't test it myself. (Don't have the equipment... for now.)

They are really close to be honest. The C1 (not sure about the C1S) has better color accuracy, a wider color gamut, better contrast VS the X5, which is brighter, still has pretty good contrast, looks better on a ALR screen, and lower input lag for gaming though neither are amazing when it comes to input lag. I would check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXzQfKljibl8h7Mfeature=shared as @TheHookUp does a great job showing their strengths and inspired me to start making my own reviews. The big deciding factor for me would be if you are using it on a ALR screen and if you want the built in apps to work. (Depending on your region)

DON'T BUY THAT PROJECTOR! I bought X5 and after 20 days desconfigurou-if and the menu in English doesn't appear more! I already attended all the videos of KZbin and the problem is the projector! The factory only rolls up and it doesn't solve anything does stupid questions on purpose to exempt! He/she has production mistake! Research and seek another mark. I tell that happened with me.
