It is crazy that even in this system Verstappen has almost 3000 points already

Let's not forget that he is driving since 2015. That's 10 full seasons. Longer than some F1 drivers had in their whole career.

more modern seasons have more races, so more points.

Jealousy the English why to much negativity Lewis togheter with sky sports. To max Verstappen. 2024 already 27 years old .but I hope your British race record ( with Schumacher) stay . It must the fanatic English made happy that max stopped within a few years . And when max stopped and Lewis keeps his records with Schumacher all the English are emotional and missed the greatest ( but offcourse behind their Lewis mister Verstappen . And max says simply lovely take your fucking records in your ars. 😂😂😂

Few times this would have changed the championship outcome. For example Senna would have won just 2 championships, Mika Häkkinen only 1 (Irvine would have won in 1999 and become champion he never was), Damon Hill had become 2 times champion and Prost 6 times champion instead of 4

2:26 Michael Schumarcher was disqualified from the 1997 champion so no point. And how is it that Micheal Schumacher is more point than Jacques Villeneuve in 1997 when he won the driver title. Good video but there is still a lot of error

All seasons were adjusted to the 2025 point system (25 points for a win, no extra point for fastest lap). Obviously, in 1997 we had a different point system (10 points for the win). Applying the current point system to old seasons might lead to changes in the drivers championship ranking of that season. About the disqualifications: you are right :)

Actually he got to keep his points (and race wins) even though he was disqualified. Its bit weird how he can be both disqualified and yet to keep his points, but basically his position from the championship was removed, but his points and wins were not deleted so to speak. Anyhow if the modern point system was to be used back then, ofc it would have meant that Schumi's disqualification would have made Villeneuve the champion either way.

Well it should not be surprise, when Kimi retired at end of 2021 season, he had become the most experienced driver in F1 history by number of races he had done. And he pretty much always drived in teams he could score good points with.

Well thats because for most part of his career Bottas raced with better cars than Nico did. During 2006-2009 Nico had lower midfield car with WIlliams, 2010-2012 upper midfield car and from 2013-2016 top tier car. Bottas meanwhile had Top tier car for most part of his career and it shows that even though he wasnt as good as Nico or Lewis, he was still really reliable points finish scorer.

How’s possible Hamilton ended so high above 6 better drivers. Pure on race talent not the 9 years off the dominance off Mercedes everybody of these 10 drivers in 2024 were in same car better. Pure on talent and age . 1 Michael Schumacher 2 Fangio,3 Ascari 4 Verstappen 5 Senna 6 prost 7 Lauda 8 hammercrying
