David Croft. He's concentrating on the intense activity which (most people believe) demands excited commentary. Martin (an experienced F1 driver) notices strategy more. In an F1 race, sometimes 2 major incidents happen at the same time. Martin is the quiet guy, so the excitable Crofty usually wins (except on one occasion here). I wish the Program Director would turn Crofty's volume dowwn a bit.

From a pure racing perspective, street circuits are absurd. Crashes result in debris (or whole cars) remaining on the racing surface. That results in safety car deployment, unfairly making the racing close. Most numbskulls like racing only if it's close. The street scene is what race hosts want, to promote their cities for tourism; they pay big money to F1 for the privilege. You can thank Uncle Bernie for pushing the Formula One organisation into a money-focused business.
