Good vid mate, but PA will still be better. Cause PA has established that it is an F1 game, they put their 100% into the cars and f1. But PTD has many different cars which also makes the game fun, but this also means that they can't focus more on an individual car type than the others which means that the PTD F1 Cars won't get 100% attention but more like 40-60% attention

PA like they kinda sucks for mobile users the game it self kinda bad on mobile and you always get track limits for no reason thats the reason why I stopped playing it when like 4 years ago I play it it was a magic but it kinda different and I hate it

Yes, but you must realise that most of their models are imports. And I'm talking about the cars, they will be able to keep up with their GT cars but won't be able to focus on the F1, F2, IndyCar etc. types of cars. This is cause PTD is mainly a GT Racing game. But you do have a valid point regarding the tracks and setting@@Gix_rop

Additional fact: few months ago PTD organized a community contest for building F1 tracks, it ran successfully and some high-quality submissions (Spa, Las Vegas, Baku, etc.) can be potentially added to PTD along side their F1 update

I do believe the idea of the track contest was indeed to add it alongside F1 (in the contest it was even mentioned it had to be a track from the F1 calendar). Whether or not that will actually happen remains to be seen, we haven't heard anything about it since the contest ended

I think its quite a smart move. PTD will receive a massive boost from attracting the strictly f1 player base. Idk if they'll be a necessary rivalry because both have different foundations (gt cars,f1 cars for each respective game). Great vid Zak!

I can tell you, PA dominates at the moment, but when F1 is released in PT, maybe it will explode, but PT is more difficult than PA, PA is more near to an arcade while PT is a real ro-racing game, but when ION finished cooking, for both its over, they removed visual lag and added collisions which ION leagues will be at its peak. My opinion

Yes PTD may be a bit grindy but there are also many other games outside of Roblox that follow the simple concept of “you start with something slow and build up to faster cars.” I feel like if you’re up for the grind then sure but it comes down to if they’re new to the game or not because there’s some of us who have millions saved in PTD just waiting for a new car. To be fair, you do also need to grind a good amount in PA to upgrade your F1.

In my opinion, PTD will not destroy Formula Apex due to 3 things: -If the game is made for GT, Ion devs would also focus on that branch, significantly limiting the amount of updates on f1 cars. -If the ptd developers continue to use the 6 second timeout when a player goes off track limits then it would be very difficult to gain a significant player-base and popularity. -PA already does have tire deformation, wheel locks and a somewhat realistic damage-model for the f1 cars. PA will dominate. If PTD actually becomes a big hit then PA would start making more updates which would also raise its popularity and significance in RO-Racing.

May I summarise the whole situation: 2022-start of 2023, Project Apex(PA) has beaten ION formula rating due to better handling but IFR had almost everything else: more variety of cars, tracks and more. 2024: Project Trackday is launching F1 cars. For me, these two games i think will have a pretty good rivalry: Not only in F1, but F2 CARS TOO, because PA announced F2 cars for CU10. Ultimately, for me, I'd stay at PA unless they pull a Ferrari strategy on one of their updates, I do play PTD too, and have almost 0.5m, however, I'm using PTD as a trainer for manual gears in PA. Track, the only track that both can have a fight on is the Hockenheimring, as there aren't any other tracks that both games have in common. It would be a challenge driving F1 cars around the f****** independence street circuit. Some criticism for both, PA's laptime isn't very realistic, like 1:08 for a lap of Hockenheimring, 1:16s for BAKU, M*****F***** Max Verstappen can't even be close to this laptime. I don't know will setups be added in one of these yearly updates, so I don't know will it benefit or not, it just who pulls the trigger. Look, you may disagree with me, but hey, I'm just your average PA driver looking for alternatives.

YES lets goooo. project trackday devs said they wont be adding formula 1 cars to the game but it looks like they are finally adding f1 cars. I just hope the handling of the cars are realistic like the rest of the cars in the game. the indycar does not handle like how an indycar should handle 😂

In practice they removed the slowdown, it just invalidates the lap now. The same can't be said for race mode though 🤷🏽‍♂️

Imma keep it blunt. Hell to the no. PA will just do better than PT. PT is just not that engaging, its just hotlap sim, like most other games. An F1 24 car being added aint gon really change that. Both are mid overall, but PT is just the more boring of the 2, especially since I can imagine the grind for it will be godawful.

I mean it's not like they're removing the GT cars. You can just ignore the f1 cars in game and continue playing as before. That's the nice thing about the game, you're not stuck to just one type of racing

Look bro, I have been playing both games since the day they came out and for me I have a love for the ion. Those days of the 2020-2021 pandemic were beautiful. Those years were beautiful for the ion. But we have to be realistic, the ion is dying little by little, not even it reaches 100 people playing and the apex has literally 800 or 900 birds, for me the apex beats it since they put the qualifications in the apex killed it at that moment, and about the 2022 ion cars they were ugly and terrible in handling On the other hand, the apex is beautiful, also the circuits, which in the apex we have 7 if I remember correctly, are realistic, which is beautiful, on the other hand, the circuits are meh. Even the one from Japan that promised a lot was disgusting, nothing bro for me, better the Apex, greetings
