@@mrfinch6664 And yet, here you are. Respectfully, you should try and understand the difference between what we do and what other series do. Yes, things can get controversial, but that's just because things are so competitive. If you think there is bias, I would love to hear who it is for and how that applies over the course of a season, not just assuming bias because you did not agree with the result of a battle. Do you have any idea how devastating that would be, if true. And the judges have absolutely nothing to gain from bias. What you need to do is show how a result is inconsistent with the criteria. And if you don't like the criteria, you are welcome to say what is good and bad and we will certainly listen to you. Best wishes. Here to answer more, if you's like to continue.

@@formuladrift see but the only reason i checked this video is because a friend told me the judging was crazy bad ...ive been watching drifting for over 10 years . I know bad calls when i see them :odi vs hull and odi vs vaugh where the worst calls ive seen in a very long time . Just watch round 1 &2 of dmec and take some notes on how on point the judging and how solid the rulebook is , because that is lacking big time in formula D and im not claiming there is favouritsm but making these bad calls makes it look that way sometimes . And comming up with strange reasonings to back faulty judging is just weird and confusing to watch and something you need to change , and sure im not a judge nor are the fans but we have eyes too 😉watching a lead driver getting bumped of track and then getting faulted for it is just not something that should happen in a pro competition
@formuladrift3 жыл бұрын
@@mrfinch6664 We tend to be more detail oriented in our judging which might be a fault of ours, but at the same time, we owe it to the drivers to be that way. What if I told you, I can show a decrease in actual speed from Odi prior to impact from telemetry, while Vaughn has constant speed? Would that change things for you? Or is it more simple just to go with, this guy hit the guy and that's that?
@chaseknop60933 жыл бұрын
Okay I’ll make it nicer. The judges don’t make sense, they have a criteria that makes no sense. What do you judge in style? Because you don’t judge each competitor for their style, you judge based on your style which is biased. Even when you judged basically all of these big moments, you would’ve thought you’d be judging something that makes sense. The reasonings make no sense, your eyes and your interpretation of what you see through them make no sense. It’s like you make me feel like I’m going insane, because you lack any kind of common sense. I said it nicely. Maybe instead of deleting my comments, you could give some type of response that isn’t an excuse. I’m an avid watcher of this sport, oversees they do it so much better. They don’t judge based on their own bias but what they see. Denofa would be massive in this sport if the judges accurately judged him based on his style. Much the same for other drivers. LZ is just a gangster who throughs it hard and then hopes that he has the power to dig out of it (basically the drift equivalent of Jeremy Clarkson). Someone should at a minimum have a standard of criteria that is public knowledge when it comes to big “events”.. Vaughn had it right, how does Vaughn get a fault when he finishes both runs, and even if he did straighten, it was well after aasbo was into his 69th 360. Like what criteria was that call based on? There’s so many little things in this sport that FD is just missing on. #1: whoever that tattooed meathead commentator is, he is so passively rude and he’s a commentator, like you purposefully put him there and paid his salary. Meanwhile every weekend, homeboy has some new passively rude comment to make toward a fan, the judges, other commentators, drivers. He literally doesn’t even add any value to the stream, leave Ryan the judge and the other guy to talk. Other dude needs to be at the ticket booth. #2 y’all need some type of organization. Every event is a cluster ….. if one too many things go wrong. It’s like there’s no system in place in order to help mitigate or at least have a plan ahead of time. Omg god forbid the meathead has to work a little longer because the event is running longer than he’d like. The sport could be better, that’s why you have the viewership problems and LZ is there. It’s just poorly managed, you’re sitting on a cash cow if you could get some type of management system in place
@formuladrift3 жыл бұрын
I don't think we have ever deleted any comments, but to answer some of your post....Style is less objective than line or angle, granted... But Style = fluidity and commitment. That is and has been well-defined for years. That is not our bias, that is the criteria. If you have a better definition that can be evaluated by a person (judge) let us know. I am not sure if you have been paying attention but Denofa is massive in the sport. He is probably one of the biggest names in the game right now, so not sure what you are saying. Vaughn was just wrong when he said the both driver had independent incompletes and is not really that big of a deal because hue just assumed that, but the judges were clear (and on the broadcast said this) that Vaughn incompleted first which meant the run was over. Aasbo breaking his car was irrelevant to that. And guess what. once Vaughn realized he was wrong, he apologized for jumping the gun. If you have a better suggestion for a rule for that situation, by all means go for it. I am not sure what you mean by viewership problem. We have the second biggest social media following in the US, second only to NASCAR and our stream is the biggest in the world for drifting, so again, not really sure what you are talking about. Our growth curve has been parabolic since pre-covid and continues to this day.
@chaseknop60933 жыл бұрын
@@formuladrift compared to your European counterparts I would say otherwise. If we’re taking in person engagement, most support TODAY is a lot based on lz fans, even compared to pre pandemic. That’s noticeable just by watching videos on your account. If we’re talking about social media that’s fine, you can have massive engagement, but how do you translate that into in in-person engagement. Style you can say is a criteria, but style is all in part bias. You are correct that Denofa is huge, this year. Denofa prior to this year has always had huge moments but never his time to shine. I think that is due in part to your style “criteria”. Whatever happened during the judgements, you can say whatever you’d like. At the end of the day you have to support the call no matter what. I appreciate the feedback, but you someone did in fact delete comment or maybe KZbin did. Even still a comment was deleted, probably rightfully so it was unsavory at best. Either way your call made no sense to many viewers despite your comment, so take that for what you will. I can see I offended someone higher up there, so hello 👋🏽 at least I’m getting a response, I see you agreed with my take on meathead. It’ll be interesting to see how he is next event, I can predict the future so let me tell you. Something goes wrong, then another, then another; the event starts running late and he gets a little irritated and is ready to go home. Little does he know he’s live to the world, then bam the rude comments just come flying out of left field. Anyone in site or that he can hear is now in harms way cause he has to work an extra hour. If you want some examples there all in prior streams, just look towards the end. Their always massively passive towards someone or a group of people. Y’all could use to take more criticism. It’s evident that you don’t get it enough. I don’t know what high horse you live on to put “….” Like yeah Einstein, you really got me……………………🤌🏽 Anyways, gotta blast 🚀

I thought so too but when I went back and watched it I saw I was looking in the wrong place. Don't look at the impact. Check the back end of Rome's car before Aasbo hits him, he's already lost it and going into a spin. That call was correct. The Odi call was a total farce though. OZ3 is not a consistant angle and so drivers have to A. Throw more angle at it for the second half or B. finish almost straight. It's up to the chase driver to work out which is going to happen. Odi vs Hull, Odi finished fairly straight and started gapping Hull on the second half of OZ3 during the final run. In their run: Vaughn expected that and surged to keep up but Odi instead went for more angle and then was denied because Vaughn shunted him off track.
