Finally done the first round of formulated fireworks. There is some work to do but I'll sit on this one for a while. See what the videos come out week by week on @OddonomousDemos .
There's a situation where you can't see some fireworks because it is too far away, the fix is to fire them close but then it looks odd because the rocket defies the rules of physics and within a millisecond moves somewhere else.
A lot of physics calculations and trigonometry mathematics for this one. As well as playing around with formulas to get the right balances between seeing an explosion like in fireworks. I haven't cracked it but that'll do.
There 8 rocket shapes and 8 firework explosion shapes. A few combinations in between too, to give a bit more variety. Colours there are 16 million but there are also variations such as making them flash. Where they fire rocket changes, the height is the same per video... or some videos it will keep changing them. 14 different types of explosions, not including if the explosion type changes each time.
There are only 4 rocket sounds, but when they explode each bit of the explosion will have up 32000 variations but for 1 millisecond. So you won't noticed the variation much.
My favourite kind of fireworks is when they fire multiple times such as at second 31.
