I literally just watched this movie again yesterday and I sobbed just as hard as the first time I watched it! They acted the hell out of this movie! His pain after losing Jenny takes me out every single time! This movie is a masterpiece in story telling, acting, and emotion!

For me, the ideas explored by Tom, Robin, and Robert are the hallmarks of great cinema. Characters tested by life's circumstances rise to a greater understanding of their own humanity and those around them. The emotions they project are real and uncover greater depths of our own emotions that lead to a growth in how we perceive the world. Thank you all for your care and dedication to making movies of this caliber.

Nice to see these people together talking about a piece of our cultural lives, as it was for them, as well.

I remember seeing a large billboard on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles that simply said, Forrest Gump. Had no idea what a great movie it was going to be.

Tom just makes great sit down and relax and learn and pay attention movies. I love his movies. SC I seen the area where it was filmed, gorgeous down there in the spring. I seen this as a kid though, Sally, Tom, and Jenny, The whole movie is just great.

There were so many great scenes in this movie and even now I'll quote bits at work just for a giggle. I do vividly remember as a kid welling up in the cinema when Bubba said "I want to go home". That's when it probably struck me that these were just kids in a pointless war. The next time I was completely horrified by was was Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan. I took a date to that........never saw her again after 😂

Inglês This masterpiece is in a category of its own. I've watched it at least half a dozen times and each of them I find new things, details that I hadn't noticed and meanings that the movie didn't have for me before. I don't know if this was the intention of the director, production and actors, but there are layers and layers of meaning to be discovered. A pleasure, an experience that cannot be told, has to be lived. Come to think of it, I'll watch it again this week.

First, I just have to say I can’t wait to see the movie Here! I’m so glad these three extraordinary talents are teaming up again! My favorite scene in Forrest Gump is when Forrest gives Jenny his Medal of Honor. I just LOVE the exchange between them just before she gets on the bus to go off with her abusive boyfriend Wesley. That exchange makes me swoon every time!🙃
