I got mine at scheels. I changed my draw length and they told me they couldn't cut my arrows down because of the insert. Is that true?

Hoping to get into these arrows I love them Fletching you use hate my blazer ones I have now seem to hit my beard .. what's the best weight?? Or weight you use for white tail??
